Works a treat with a bit of tweaking.
Make the holes 4mm not 3.5mm and slightly countersink them above and below. Very lightly lubricate the sliding part with Vaseline. Carefully set the operating movement, in my case to 3mm. Then it works rather well and is 500% better than the "Hand of God", which, in my case tends to knock wagons over instead of uncoupling them! I have six of these now.
