I bought this product as I couldn’t buy TGB BIAB (not knowing this was only able to be bought by professionals) so I looked at reviews of a few builders on Amazon and the reviews were great for this product. I bought it actually thinking it wouldn’t be particularly great but better than just having gel colour and if it made that last longer than without then that would be worth it - especially for the price! The item arrived and I looked at a few videos on how to use a builder (although everyone seems to have a slightly different way) and cracked on, I assumed it wouldn’t be great the first time I used it as I would be working out what works best for me however I followed this process: Push back cuticles & cut Buff nail Use alcohol wipe to remove dust Use Cuccio nail dehydrator Apply Aimeili straight to nail (no base) x2 layers Apply gel colour on top (no wiping in between) Apply top coat I cured each layer for 1 min in an LED lamp and used Bluesky gel colour and topcoat. I cannot believe how well this lasted the FIRST time I used it. The only reason I changed it was because it had grown out (my nails grow super quickly). I cannot recommend enough. I saw some people had had reactions which did worry me slightly but I did a test on a small part of a nail the day before. I had absolutely no lifting of the product and the colour stayed on so well! I’ve been using gel on my own nails for years and always felt disappointed it would only last a week before lifting or chipping which made me reluctant to spend the time doing it. I will certainly be using this item now for my own nails for the foreseeable. It made them so hard and robust. The only thing I need to workout is whether you had to remove the whole builder when changing the colour and start from scratch as when I changed the colour and didn’t remove the builder fully from the nail the nails became too thick - that’s my own education! I would recommend definitely and especially for the price, just test on your own nail before :)

It’s quite good, easy to work with and cures quickly, you do need to use alot of product and there’s not much in the bottle. I estimate you’d get about 3 manicures out of each one which is small compared to other brands. The colours are very similar and I expected they’d be more pigmented than they are. In the picture I’ve used a glitter polish on the end and ombred out but the pinky colour is the builder gel,

Amazing!! Best builder gel I have ever used and I’ve bought a lot of different brands over the years. The product self levels so well that I didn’t have to file over them just removed the sticky excess with acetone. 10/10

Great product

this gel is pretty okay, as a beginner nail tech it works pretty well and is a nice neutral colour however you need to use a LOT of gel to make sure it isnt see through for example one bottle only gave me three sets. so not to impressed by that im now upgrading to a more high quality brand that i have some money from doing nails but this is good for beginners ( its VERY runny idk if this is a me problem or what but make sure you hold the nail upside down for 30+ seconds unless you want that beautiful apex you just spent an hour creating to melt down the sidewalls )

Edit 27th December 2020: Added pictures for nail repair Original review 5th September 2020: Never used any kind of gel nail product before, but bought this based on reviews along with some nail forms because I'm sick of breaking a nail and either cutting the others down to size or rocking uneven nail lengths. I had two tears into my thumbnail and after filing a significant portion of the left side of it was gone and the shape awful, and still two big quarter inch cracks into the nail. I knew that no amount of filing was going to save it, so finally it was time to test this out. After squeezing a nail form under the remaining part of the nail, I simply pulled out the brush allowing half of the product on it to go back into the bottle and applied some over the nail to cover the tears and then over onto the nail form and stuck my thumb under my led curing light for a minute (it turns off automatically after 1 minute). I removed the nail form which came away easily and realized the section where there was no nail was a bit thin, but the directions did call for 2 coats anyway, so slipped the form back under the nail and repeated the process. Sure enough the gel section of the nail was now not bendy and felt thick and strong, though slightly tacky, but I started filing away which was super easy, and shaped it all back up. Other than being completely transparent, I was unable to tell where my nail ended and the gel started, it was so easy to file it into a seamless transition. I then put a standard ridge filling basecoat and painted my nails with standard (not gel) polishes and a week later, it's still holding up perfectly and no one is any the wiser. Does exactly what I needed it to do, I'll never have to look in despair at uneven nails again, if I do something stupid and break one, I can just clean it up, chuck some of this on, bung it under the lamp, file it up and in 10 minutes pretend like nothing happened. Fabulous. Can't believe I didn't invest in this years ago.

PLEASE READ THIS. THIS HAS BEEN THE MOST TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE TO DATE. IF I CAN SAVE ONE PERSON THE HUNDREDS OF HOURS OF PAIN IT IS WORTH IT. I was using this product for over a year with no problems. I would always get compliments and how beautiful my nails were, they were extremely long and this allowed them to be protected and not break. I would wear a polish over top of this and I had no problems. I would typically use this product once a week or once every few weeks depending on if it was lifting or not. Last year something extreme happened and up until this point I have been trying to figure out what it was through medical doctors dermatologists etc but since reading another review and seeing their photos, and having the exact same experience, I now know that it was this product. Almost overnight all of my nails started to feel very weak. As if I would touch something and they felt like they were disconnected from my nail bed. Lo and behold when I removed the nail polish, half of my nails were disconnected and lifted from my nail bed. There was loads of black and brown material underneath. I obviously thought it was a fungal, but it affected all 10 of my nails and extremely quickly. This progressed in a matter of days. I went from having beautiful nails to the photos above. I cut them all the way down as I lost all sensation in the nail bed, and because I thought that it was fungal, I researched that you had to cut down the nail as far as possible in order to treat the affected area. The skin was rough with black marks all over, indicating splinter hemorrhages. I obviously went to the doctor and had tests done and they had never seen anything like it. All of the fungal tests came back negative. So for three months I soaked my fingers every night in vinegar and bleach in order to kill whatever had taken hold. It’s been almost a year and my nails are just now growing out normal again fully connected to the nail bed. I thought that I was going to have this problem for life. I had to wear white cotton gloves for almost a year. The site of my nails was so atrocious and scary. look at the pics! Unfortunately after seeing similar photos from other reviewer‘s, I now realize that it was this product. It worked for a while and then similar to other people, it started causing a disaster. This is one of the most traumatic things I have ever had to live through. I absolutely cannot recommend this product. Stay so far away. You’re playing with fire, my nails looked incredible for so long but the downside was unbearable. And 1 year to grow back normally and they are still quite damaged and yellow. This is like going bald overnight after having a beautiful head of hair. This company should be sued.
