Notified while at work equipment was moving. Opened app and watched everywhere it went!
I had been looking for a tracker that was affordable to start tracking my equipment with and one that had good battery life vs. positional accuracy. This seemed like the best thing available given my criteria. Like others have mentioned there is a monthly cost associated with service. It can be anywhere from $10/month - $50/month depending on your update requirements. I chose the middle plan at $24/month for updates every 60 seconds when the device is moving. For $50/month you get updates every 2 seconds. While cool, for me, it was unnecessary. The start up is simple. The app has solid features and is straight forward. The desktop online version has many more features and settings for the user to customize their level of security. You can view all of your trackers from the same control panel and update features, fences, and information on the fly.I also purchased the hard-wire kit for this so that I don't have to worry about charging it while the machine is on site somewhere. Granted, the tracker has been up and running for 2 weeks now and has used 50% of the battery. I can easily live with that. I have an alarm set through the online portal to notify me if it drops below 10% battery life. (Also if it leaves the area I've fenced off)I absolutely intend to put these in all of my equipment moving forward. What pushed me over the edge on the cost, initial & monthly, is that I'm sitting at my desk at work, watching its icon move around in real time 7 miles away. I got notified when my operator left the fence with it.This is a really cool piece of hardware that adds SO much protection with no effort.

Caveat Emptor
These things are still in beta testing. For starters, the app (iOS) just plain sucks. It lacks basic features like:- Adding multiple devices after the initial device is added.- Removing added devices.- The GPS for Google Maps is busted and throws an error. The other two map options are from some Chinese/Asian map sites that aren’t very accurate.- The “Do Not Disturb” option to disable all devices doesn’t work.- You cannot disable the “Alarm while lost” option so, whenever you close the app (or your phone cycles it out of RAM usage), the devices beep incessantly. That’s right: close the app and you hear nothing but beeping.Avoid this product. The developers clearly have no intention of creating a working product/app and I have some concerns that the app may actually have a virus in it that got past Apple.

Excellent smart tracker
A very useful gadget. At first, I doubted its effectiveness, ordered one pack for checking. The two-year-old son has habit of throwing our keys from the house and from car anywhere, under sofa, under bed. Once he even managed to throw its in the trash. Therefore, I decided to try whether this device really helps to find all these losses. Contrary to my doubts, the device works and is very effective. Already ordered a second set. One tracker for our cat, who always likes to hide in cabinets, and the other in reserve.

Works well but has some design flaws in my opinion
I would say this does the job with a few distinct caveats. One - the tracker requires an app to be open 24/7 and Android likes to force close apps after a certain time of inactivity (which I definitely didn't think was a bad thing) until your pocket starts beeping randomly mid-conversation or in a work meeting, etc. Two - when the tracker goes out of range for an extended period of time it will become disconnected from the app randomly and it is not easy to get reconnected. You have to force close the app multiple times after hitting reconnect and hold down the button on the tracker. It will eventually reconnect but it is a process. Finally I had one tracker break within a month of purchase. I had a chat with support through Amazon and offered me a credit to replace it. I decided to not accept it since the tracker was more headache than it was worth. Since I bought this based on positive reviews, I found it important to give others a heads up on my experience. For some, I am sure this product will work great. For me, it was just too much hassle for limited gain.

Seems to be working well despite low Google Play reviews
The tracker arrived today 11/4, and here are some intial thoughts. On Amazon it has a very high rating, but the app has 1.9. Not sure why the difference but the device works in my home. A common complaint was the app kept crashing. Personally, I wouldn't say it crashed but I disconnected the bluetooth and it took a hot minute to find the trackers. Another complaint was it didn't give accurate location address. I tested this out and it pinpointed my home address, still the tracker and the phone were close together.I will leave one in my car and see what happens. When setting up the app it asks for permissions for recording and camera use. Not sure if I want to approve these but at least for the camera permission you can take pictures remotely. So far, so good.1/1/2020 UpdateI don't know if I would buy this or any other tracker again. Lost my keys and somehow the tracker could not find it despite it being near me, and the battery ran out about two weeks ago. It was good for about 6 weeks.

Work good but they're cheaply made and packaging is terrible
So far these have worked as expected but they're definitely cheaply made and came in a little, half opened, beat up crap box. I originally bought these for Christmas gifts but ended up keeping them because the packaging looked so cheap. I'd just bite the bullet and get Tiles if I were you because I could totally see these crapping out real fast especially if you have them on a keychain that gets banged around a lot.

Easy to use
I always lose my keys and this makes them so easy to find! The tracker is very small and lightweight and it does not weigh my keychain down. I downloaded the app and it is really easy to use. Would highly recommend!
