Can this be used in an HE washer?

I have, and do, in ours occasionally with no apparent oversudsing problems or residue.

Does this have any type of softner in it?

I'm not sure, and I don't think so... but I've never felt like things are not soft enough after washing in it.

There is no mention of a scent on the bottle. I don’t believe it has a scent. It just smells “fresh”.

Can i use this to wash my polyester wedding dress, without fading the its crystal embellishments? if not, what can i use instead? thank you!

Yes you can. Make sure you turn your dress inside out to protect the crystals. Put the dress in a large net laundry bag. You can buy those at walmart in the laundry section. Gentle wash, cold in the washing machine. or Delicates, or Hand wash if you have those options in your washing machine. Line dry flat. or use a hanger. You should be good to go.
