I am Leonardo da Vinci (Ordinary People Change the World)

Great author and great idea to get young kids to learn some of the good that occurred in history.

Had to buy this book for our grandson. He really enjoys this series. We are so excited that besides being enjoyable, it is educational!

I am a fan of this series of books, and this is another great addition. It is one of my new favorite ones because I really like the message of this book. It focuses on every da Vinci worked on during his life and how he didn't focus on one discipline. He followed his ideas and questions for what he wanted to work on. I loved the focus on the importance of asking questions and creating ideas, and how everyone's ideas are unique because no-one is the same. The illustration are whimsical and detailed. There are so many aspects to use this book as a teaching tool. I can't recommend this book enough.

Great book with great information! If your kids watch Xavier riddle, they will love this book, and even if they don’t it’s written is a way that your kids will learn and enjoy the story.

As a teenager I did a 40 page report on Leonardo da Vinci. For months, there was very little else I thought about. It was the first time I did a deep dive into any subject in a real way. That said, I came away from this picture book knowing more. It’s ridiculously inventive and informative on top of being drawn so cute ya just wanna die . Check out these two storytellers at the top of their game detailing the life of one of the greatest geniuses who ever lived. An amazing book for old and young.

Good series for introducing kids to people who they should be able to recognize later in life

I love this book about Leonardo da Vinci. My 7 year old grandson loves art. He draws all the time. This book tells how hard work can help you accomplish anything in life. This is written on his level and it's a great series for the young children.

This is an outstanding nonfiction book for a 5 to 8 year old. My granddaughter loves both art and science, so learning about Leonardo da Vinci is right up her alley. Luckily, I like both science and art too. I am very familiar with children’s books, because I am a parent, grandparent, and librarian. I believe most children will find this book very interesting. It’s a well written book with very good illustrations.

As a lover of all things Leonardo this book is an amazing way for me to teach my young daughter about the great man. Our go to at story time!
