once again, a solid book from Bert
This book is THE book to get if you are a model builder of this fine aircraft. With the pending Wingscale release, this book is a must have. Loaded with color photos, and illustrations, Bert really knocked this one out of the park.If you only own one reference book on the B-25, make it this one.

Great Book
Nice pictures, good technical info, pretty good info for modelers, good coverage of subject matter and well laid out scheme. I like it and would recommend it to anyone as long as they shop around for the lower range of pricing!!!!!

WWII Bomber Workhorse Described!
North American's B-25 Mitchell bomber is given the patented Detail & Scale treatment in this 1999 Squadron/Signal release. The B-25 saw combat worldwide, serving as a medium bomber, low-level gunship and night intruder. Bert Kinzey gives the reader an up-close-and-personal tour of this versatile warbird.D&S Volume 60 devotes 80 pages to describing and illustrating the major USAAF Mitchell bomber and photo-recce variants - the B-25B, -C, -D, -J, F-10, etc. along with the USN/USMC PBJ models. Vintage and contemporary b&w and color photographs supply general and close-up images of each model. Don Greer supplies two pages of color profiles. As always, Kinzey's text is crisp, authoritative and informative. Realizing that previous B-25 illustrations were sometimes incorrect, Kinzey had Lloyd S. Jones create three-views that are the most accurate drawings of the Mitchell yet seen.Like all D&S titles, B-25 MITCHELL IN DETAIL discusses development and combat history but, if you're interested in lots of 'yank and bank' action, they're not what you want. However, they are accurate and informative, nuts-and-bolts guides to famous warbirds. Recommended.
