They work great if Led bulbs are at an angle.
These lights are very good, almost great,But they are not waterproof. They work fine in good weather and even bad weather ( rain or snow). However, when you point the light straight up into a tree or the side of a building, the lights fill with water and stop working. I have 12 of these lights and lost 3 of them that shine straight up into the trees. All others work perfectly, and long a th lies lights are on an angle. If you want waterproof, you need IP67.

Not very bright but works for intended purpose
It's easy to install, easy to assemble. That's the great part about these solar lights. The brightness... Not so bright. I left the units out under the bright sun to charge for 3 days before installing and using them and when I checked on each brightness settings, it was not at all bright. The highest brightness setting is almost about the same as the low. It didn't make a huge difference in brightness. The battery seems to last quite long on low setting however. I noticed the lights came on at 7:30pm. I checked my surveillance cameras and the lights turned off at 6:00am. They were noticeably dimmed however but they stayed on all night. I have not set it to high brightness setting and leave them on all night to see how long it'll stay on. I will try that and will update in the future...

Missing hex nut.
Sorry not sorry for the 1 Star. One thing I can’t stand is when an item comes with a missing piece. 3 out of the 4 are fine, one is missing a hex nut that tightens the screw for the solar panel. I’ve already put the stakes in so I can’t package it back up to return. Amazon wants me to return the entire item for 1 hex nut, and I can’t fit it back in the box because I can’t get the stake off of them now that I realize one doesn’t have a hex nut. They also won’t do a partial return where I just return the one missing the part. Really frustrated. I was excited to light my Japanese maple trees around my house with these lights.

Excellent landscape lights at a fair price
These are really great lights! I snagged them recently on a lightning deal and felt like they were an incredible value, even at the non-lightning deal price. They're super bright even on low and last a good long time as long as you had a sunny day. I have these in my front yard illuminating some trees and they look awesome. They're really well made and having the light and solar panel articulate separately is a really nice feature. They can actually be mounted in a variety of ways and come with both ground stakes and screws/drywall anchors so that you're good to go regardless of how you want to use them. I'll definitely be buying more in the future. Highly recommended!

Low Price = Low Quality!
If you are looking for quality landscape lighting that will enhance the aesthetics of your home, these lights are NOT the lights for you! I should have known that based on the price I paid ($19 of Black Friday), but I thought I’d get a product that at least worked and I would somewhat met my needs until I was ready to invest the money for better lights! When the first set of 4 arrived; 1 did not ever work and 1 lit up for about 2 hours (after charging in the South Louisiana sunlight all day) and never came back on. The other two seemed fine, but the next few days they got a little dimmer each night when they kicked on. I decided to return them, and asked for a replacement set...should have asked for a refund! When the second set arrived, I did not immediately test them, but I should have! When I did, again two of them did not work right out of the box, so I decided to return them for a refund this time! That’s when I discovered that they had shortened the return window for the replacements to only one month! It’s not really that big of a deal, because I did not spend that much money on them! But I do think that shortening the return window so drastically for a replacement item is really uncool! Now I’m doing what I should have from the beginning! I’m spending the money necessary to buy high quality lights!

For a few $ more you can get much better
These were about $7 each in a set and thought I'd give them a try. Have been using InnoGear cone-style for years but occasionally try one with good reviews. This doesn't seem to have as powerful batteries and goes dim before midnight, even on low and with reasonably precise solar panel tp sin orientation. Easy to mount but solar panels really probably need to be aimed precisely toward the sun's path to get much juice and without a gimble for the panel you really can't put it on a wall/fence without compromising its solar capacity.

Good Enough
I purchased the initial set (12) one year ago and all but two still work. The second set of 12 arrived yesterday and one light is missing the nut and screw to hold the solar panel up. Two of the lights do not light after two weeks of being installed. While they put out about 20 watts of light, it does throw some light on my home. These are way cheaper than the hard wire LED alternative. But remember to order more units than you need as about 25% will fail on the first year.

Not happy with these.
I was not impressed at all with the lighting in these. I installed them on the driveway and let them charge all day. The light (on bright) coming from them would hardly throw a beam more then about six feet pointing down to the gravel. Somewhere around five or six hours later; they were dead. I seriously doubt that these could actually light up the side of the house, and if they could, they wouldn't be lit for too long.
