Top of the line garden hose
Continental Premium Garden Heavy Duty Cold Water Garden HoseWe have two Continental hoses. They are made like products were in the 1950's, with quality materials.- The vast majority of today's garden hoses have aluminum fittings, typically anodized or painted. The problem with that is that virtually all home garden hose faucets are brass -- and aluminum/brass contact will corrode the aluminum over time. Try unscrewing the aluminum fitting when that happens. Continental uses machined brass (not stamped as on cheaper hoses) brass fittings, so corrosion is not an issue.- If a hose reel is used to wind up and unwind a decent hose such as this one, hose kinks are generally not an issue. Customers that whine about kinks typically don't use hose reels and are shocked that their hose kinks. Most hoses are more likely to kink if coiled manually.- The Continental hoses inside diameter is 5/8". Given than most homes have 1/2" ID pipes feeding their garden hose faucet, 5/8" is fine.- 100% Made in AmericaIf I need a third hose, I'll get another one of these...

Lasts for decades
Forty-five years ago, I moved to the Phoenix metro area. I bought three Continental rubber garden hoses. Those hoses were exposed to an average of 100 degrees of heat. Seven years ago, I moved to Florida and took the hoses with me. I still use them. Since I have acreage with faucets in more areas, I bought a couple more. You can purchase inexpensive hoses that may last a few years, or opt for quality that lasts for decades. Most importantly, they are made in the USA by American workers.

Excellent Product
I did much research before replacing my 100' garden hose. Overall, this hose has been impressive. The pressure is outstanding and it rolls up easily on my hose reel. It will kink sometimes but I think it's due to the hose still being relatively new. I think after I use it more it will loosen up and not kink anymore.

Hose
Hose works great better than some of those big box stores. Other hoses I have bought from big box stores tend to bend and crack and leak at the bend even though they advertised as heavy construction hose. This hose is way better.

Old fashioned rubber garden hose!
These Continental rubber hoses are exactly that, an old fashioned rubber garden hose. It will kink. The quality is good. The price is a little high for what you get but that's because it's American made and not imported. We bought 3 of them to replace our old garden hoses and so far are happy with them except for the kinking.

But the 100’
Excellent product. The only hose i would buy. All others fail. If treated right, this hose could be the last you ever buy. Commercial grade. I’d buy again.

I was hesitating to spend that kind of money on a garden hose for my ranch, well well worth it! It is a far superior quality made hose!
