Unreliable results
Received item and tested it several times against blood ketones. It was WAY off, so I contacted seller. Seller was very polite, professional, and offered to replace it immediately. Service was great. Unfortunately, the replacement worked just as poorly. After exhausting until a reading of 0.00, it read 9.6, which I knew was ridiculous. Exhausted it again to 0.00 and tested again. This time 6.3, also not likely. I then immediately did a blood ketone test and got 2.6, which is entirely reasonable. Have tested it against blood several times. I realize they won't be the same, but it has rarely been within even 3 mmol of the blood value. The high level of variation in both of their units I tested made the product completely unreliable and unhelpful.

Back you go
I'd like to think that this meter is defect, or else I'm deathly ill and need to immediately go to the emergency room. It was fine for a week and since yesterday it keeps showing 9.95. According to that I'm in full-blown ketoacidosis. I feel fine, have none of the symptoms that come with that. I'm not aware of being diabetic. Don't want to spend thousands in an emergency room to tell them that I feel fine, but this meter says that I'm very, very sick.edit: I have now spent 3 days in 'ketoacidosis' and should be dead ;-). I returned the meter.

Did we get a bad meter? This device is grossly inaccurate, for both me and my girlfriend.
I bought this with hopes of eliminating the need of pricking my finger. I tested this device for many days (see photo) alongside daily blood testing, to compare results. This device is grossly inaccurate, for both me and my girlfriend. Tests taken with the Ketone Breath Meter (highlighted yellow) were innaccurate & showed us in “dangerous levels” while more reliable blood testing showed we were in safe Keto ranges. We followed all the instructions: We do not drink alchohol, we used a new mouthpiece, we breathed at the correct speed. While the results did seem to parallel the blood tests, they were far, far off. Did we get a bad meter or something?

Total POS
This product tells me that I’m constantly in medical grade ketoacidosis 9.95 mmol/dL (I’m not). It tells my partner that he is in prime ketosis hours when he regularly eats high carbohydrate meals a meals. His test was after eating macaroni and cheese. this is a crock, save your money.

Good to have when doing keto!!
Since I started the keto diet I needed something to track ketones so this is perfect!!! Its easy to use and quick to check if I'm in ketosis

Someone isn't telling the truth
It's easy to use but its inaccurate...while doing the residual testing first 2 test come up 0...the last test will rank from .25 to 1.2 with no air being blown...then will I actually test it says I am anywhere between 7 and 9. I am going to try it again tomorrow...if it does the same thing it's doing today...back it goes!

Easy to use and Bright LED display
I got this analyzer in anticipation of beginning another round of a hard keto diet following a medical necessitated break. I have not started yet (I'm still in induction) but I figured this would be a perfect time to test the meter when I know I'm not in ketosis. True to form, I scored a zero over all four tests over three days which correlated nicely to the negative results I got from my ketone urine test strips. For my ketosis, I'm looking for pass/fail results, so the quantification of detected ketones is a bit extra, but I appreciate the very bright and well contrasted Green-on-Black readout as well as the easy to use single push button design. I was a bit worried at first, as the units plastic feels a bit inexpensive, but upon examination it's rather rigid and dense. My only recommendation to the user would be to get a slip cover or something as the plastic is slippery in the hand. I simply wrapped mine in two pieces of trimmed adhesive patch and it was much easier to grasp.

Consistent
First, I have to say that I can not promise accuracy with this device. Just like a bathroom scale, it could be off by a little. However, if you use it correctly, it is very consistent. Consistency will give you the information you need to stay in Ketosis at the level you wish.I have used this for several days now. As recommended, I test every morning when I get up. I log that info and also test before bed. That number will not be as accurate because I will have eaten about 2 hours prior. It is still consistent though. I had just come off of a backpacking trip when I received it. I ate carbs while out there because fats are too hard to keep from going rancid. The first day I tested 0.0 as I thought I should. The next morning I was 1.8. That's also about where I should be. I have been on Keto for over 18 months so I can get back pretty easy. The last two mornings I have been 3. 3 may seem high to some, but remember, I am looking for consistency. It is the top edge of the scale and I am fine with the reading.I have tested several times 5 minutes apart and got the same numbers so I am happy with the readings. It is so much better than the strips. I can't say it is better than the prick tests, but at least I don't have to bleed to use it.
