They make a higher quality one, but the tradeoff, as I understand it, is that it doesn't last as long, and is more prone to being washed away by water. Still, as much as this costs, I decided not to upgrade, and I can see that was the right decision. I tend to leave some maintenance too long, and want to be sure my bearings are still working in any case. This grease is nice and thick, stays where you put it, and the bearings stick in it like flies on flypaper. Reassembled the hub, and everything rolls like a charm. Just be sure to use a solvent (i.e. grease remover) to clean out the old grease when you service them. I'm sure it works for many other applications, but I bought it specifically for wheel hub bearings, and can vouch for it in that use case. Happy greasing! Review: top
