These look and work just like the original covers. The can be installed without taking the camera apart, though it's a hassle. Getting the old tabs out of the camera can be frustrating. Getting the new ones in is also equally frustrating. That's not a bad thing because it means they won't just fall off the camera. They fit snuggly, and snap into place like the OEM covers do. I don't open the covers that often, so I can't say how well they hold up with repeated use. I looked at a few YouTube videos before attempting it. I wouldn't use anything sharp to install the tabs on the new covers, as it could easily pierce the tab.
