I placed these in the hallway and bathroom for my young kids to be able to get to the bathroom at night. The first thing I noticed is they are very light weight but look very nice. The size and shape smooth and really. It noticeable on the wall. The lighting is very soft and comfortable but provides plenty of light to see and get around the dark halls and bathroom. I had two pretty close together outside the hall and then right inside the bathroom and they were too much light for the area. I would recommend buying them and will probably buy a few more.

I usually have to get up once or twice a night to use the bathroom, and while I already had a night light so I rarely have to turn on the overhead bathroom lights, the nightblue was a white/blue nightlight, and quite bright - I already have enough issues staying asleep at night and recently listened to some podcasts where they discussed studies showing that even brief exposure to bright light &/or blue spectrum light at night can disrupt melatonin production, so I figured changing out the nightlight to be red would be an easy enough switch. I was disappointed when I first put this red nightlight in my bathroom, as it looked like it was definitely going to be too dim to make it so I didn't have to turn on the light at night. Thankfully, I was wrong - once your eyes adjust to darkness (as they will be when you wake up in the middle of the night) this thing is definitely bright, while still being red spectrum so hopefully with minimal to nonexistent disruption to melatonin. So far so good! It turns off promptly when the light is turned on. I'll update my review if it quits working unexpectedly - but so far, so good, I can recommend this seller and this product.

First order of 2, we liked so much. I ordered more. The amber color was chosen so it's an easier color for the eyes at night and doesn't disrupt sleep patterns. These are bright enough (light shines thru edges) to see the local area where this is plugged in. Our wall plates are a creamy white and the base and plastic surface blends right in to the outer during the day. Plus they are low profile-don't stick out and catch on anything, so any wall outlet could be used. They're not motion sensors, but light sensor. So during the day ir if other lights are on, these are off. It's so difficult to find something that is not blue related and/or harsh or bright on the eyes at night and these amber colored lights are perfect.

This nightlight puts out a red glow. It is perfect for hallways or areas where you don't want a lot of light but also want to be able to see a bit to make it to the bathroom etc. The nice thing about it is that it is red and doesn't interrupt your melatonin production.

I have kind of sensitive eyes so I hate turning on the light during middle of the night bathroom journeys. These lights are the perfect amount of light to see but not too bright to disturb your eyesight when returning to the dark. The light sensor works really well so I don't have to worry about turning it on and off. Truly the best night light find ever!! Highly recommend.

Update 1/31/23: Still working great! Inexpensive lights like these can be hit or miss, but so far they're a hit! To be fair, I've only had them for a week, but hopefully they last! Brightness I gave a 4, based on strength, not quality. I actually like their strength, as some LED lights can be annoyingly bright. I want soft lighting in the middle of the night, so I'm pleased. I guess I am using two, but mainly cause it came with two and figured why not? After getting these I did think maybe I should have got motion sensors because they will run all day due to being in a bathroom, so I unplug them in the morning. However, it would seem, based on reviews, the motion sensors types can be buggy, at least for red lights. I'll stick with these.

This is a perfect night light for multiple reasons. First, its bright but not too bright to wake you up in the middle of the night. The amber is also a perfect shade, not white and harsh. Second, the construction allows you to use the lower plug in a socket without covering up the upper section. That is important. A lot of night lights may provide the same amber light or brightness, but they often have a shape, that when plugged in, blocks the upper section of a socket. Therefore you have to sacrifice both plugs for one light. This light hangs down and doesn't block the upper section. PERFECT!

Until this week, this product was a 5-star for me. Great brightness, great color, great light sensor. We bought these to use during our middle-of-the-night diaper changes for our brand new baby girl. Although I’d originally planned to keep them plugged all day and night, my husband and I are both sensitive to light at night and ended up only plugging the light in when we actually needed to change a diaper. So, in total, maybe 5-15 minutes per day max. Our baby is two and a half months old and out of the blue one of the lights just stopped working. Won’t turn on when plugged in, night or day. Fortunately we have two, and the other one works fine (in the same outlet, I might add), but I’m pretty disappointed, especially considering this light has only had 5-15 minutes of use per day for 2.5 months (what is that, maybe 19 hours total?). I’m glad our backup still works, and I’ll keep an eye out to see if the same thing happens to it in two months. Pretty bummed, I liked the light otherwise.
