wow am i surprised at how good these worked ! my son struggled so bad with getting hair cuts and i was always holding off so in the end it would take longer well i just got these today ! and it was time for a hair cut , never cut hair before ! but wow they did a fabulous job, they really didn’t make noise other than vibrate and he thought it was funny ! easy to hold not heavy at all and super safe for when they move around a lot , they are all around perfect ! i got the big set too with the scissors and super easy to use as well for top and front.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about these haircut clippers. I wish I had known about these sooner!My son is autistic and does NOT do well at a children’s hair salon. He screams the entire time and will put up a huge fight. It’s honestly a terrible experience, not due to the salon itself but because the noise is too much for him.When I received these in the mail, I immediately tried them out because I was curious to know if they were as good as they sounded, and they are! My son hardly noticed me cutting his hair and the results were beautiful. I highly recommend trying these as they have been a huge life saver to any parent who is struggling to get their child’s haircut. My suggestion would also be to let your child see the kit and what’s inside to help them understand it’s not dangerous. I let me son touch the clipper scissors (while they were closed) just so he knew what I would be doing with them. It also helped that he was watching YouTube as a distraction.*On a side note, when I also received my kit, one of the clippers were missing, but when I reached out directly to them they instantly took care of my problem and sent me the one I was missing along with an extra safety scissor.*

This truly is quiet and very easy to use for cutting a small child’s hair. The ease of use is especially attractive for this product. It took me 1 minute to put together and use, the hair cut was done quickly, and I was not worried about cutting my son. I highly recommend!

I got the Hero combo. The clippers worked really well, much quieter than regular clippers, and my autistic sons got used to them faster than expected. They’re also much lighter and easy to handle than I expected. I was disappointed that the scissors barely cut, though. They were actually more complicated to work with than the clippers to me. But overall the haircuts came out pretty nice!

These scissors are a life changer! I have a several disabled son and cutting his hair was always super stressful. We used these for the first time tonight and it made cutting his hair such a breeze! I didn't have to worry about poking him because these scissors are rounded. There were no super uneven areas like before because these mimic hair clippers. Thank you to whom ever invented these!

My sons will not allow anyone but me near their hair, and despite YouTube tutorials I haven't been able to master haircuts with traditional shears. Then I found these on Amazon and was excited to try them!It comes with an instructional booklet, a storage case, a cleaning brush, and some hard plastic cards to keep the guards neat and organized. I thought that was a nice touch!It did take some trial and error to figure out the correct way to hold and angle the clippers. I almost thought I accidentally ordered a pair of left handed scissors, lol. Due to the nature of the design, it's difficult to manuver them around the front and left side (the opposite side of my dominant hand), so you will have to move with the scissors - you can't stand behind them to do all the cutting like you would with regular shears. The images in the instructions were very helpful though!You want to go slow when cutting off the length. If you try to do the quick snips right off the bat, you will pull their hair. Follow the instructions by cutting pieces of the length off before you do the quick snips to even everything out. Taking your time is super important.My sons don't like the cape, but that is their personal preference rather than anything being wrong with it.This product comes with AMAZING customer service!! Their clippers have a lifetime guarantee. One of the guards broke as I tried to put it on the clippers - I believe it was a manufacturing error, since it didn't seem to fit properly and I didn't have that problem with the rest of the guards. I contacted customer service to ask about a replacement. I received a response before the end of the day, and they sent me one free of charge as well as a complimentary pair of safety scissors!Overall, for the price this product is WELL worth my sanity and my boys' comfort. It's an amazing invention & you won't regret buying it!!
