Lovely set of metallic pencils
Lovely set of metallic pencils. Very soft cores and a good selection of vivid metallic colours, soft and buttery in use and they blend well. Only slight criticism is that the box is quite large for 20 pencils. I would have been quite happy to have them come in a tin which would take up less storage space. However the large box with foam insert mean the pencils are better protected than they would be in a tin.

Another product from Derwent witxh is quality. Don't find many single sets of metallic pencils around. Just wish they had a bigger set. Lay down smooth and are very nice to work with. Had no issues with scratching or weird lines layed down.Very easy to blend the colours when needed. Nice little gift to a artist friend or family member. Presented in a nice tin that protects the pencils.

Surprisingly subtle and beautiful.
These are beautiful, they have completely surpassed my expectations. The colours are gorgeous, particularly the more unusual ones like yellow, violet, turquoise, red and silver rose. They are all fairly well pigmented on first application, the texture is soft, they layer nicely and blend very well. I never thought I'd be interested in metallic pencils because bling is not really my thing but the Midnight Masquerade colouring book seemed to need a bit of shimmer and these seemed to be the best option. They are surprisingly subtle and I'm very glad that I opted for the full set because I think I'll be using them a lot.

Best Metallic Coloured pencils out there
Derwent is a brilliant brand anyway but I wasn't too sure about these aas I have yet to find a metallic pencil that does what I want it to do - and I have had ALL the good makes. These are the best. Creamy, pigmeny rich and lovely to use - blend them with Derwent coloured pencils for even more depth (yes they even blend!) . Excellent product.
