This works significantly better than a dust ruffle, especially since the bed has sections on the frame that a dust ruffle would have to be placed over, making it look uneven. Great product.

I recently purchased a King sized IKEA bed with the slat bottoms but did not like the fact that you can see the slats underneath the mattress. Looking around, I figured I would give this a shot to see if I could cover them up. First thing to keep in mind is that this is a ring and has no top. It is only designed to wrap around the outside of the bed so there is nothing going across the entire top of the boxspring. With that in mind, I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to fit it over the slats which are just slightly larger than a typical boxspring. It was a tight fix and I would not fault this skirt if the slats eventually rip through. But I have had it installed for several months now and it works like a charm. I can't see the slat base any longer. If I were to need one for a standard boxspring, I would have no qualms purchasing one of these again. For my alternative use case, It certainly fit the bill.

The material is stretchy, seemingly strong and it fits the box spring like a glove! It was not difficult to put on, but it is easiest done by removing the mattress. Your abilities will dictate the amount of effort, especially if you are doing it by yourself, but even then, it is no more challenging than putting on a fitted sheet. There will be a small tag that indicates the side that should be up (the side with the elastic straps) and the head position. Despite being a tight fit, the cover does not snap out of place as one works their way around. From a distance, it looks like it is an original feature on the box spring, and took years of wear and unsightly dinginess away in mere moments. It is an incredible way to plus up an otherwise physically functional piece of furniture that has seen better days.

I wanted to get rid of my bed skirt (aka dust skirt) especially with three cats and a dog. My bed spring is in good shape except for two corners where my cats scratched it when they were babies. This box spring cover is so nice, looks so much neater. I bought navy blue because my bedroom is blue. Not that easy to put on. It took me and two friends to put it on but well worth it. So happy with this purchase.

We are done with dust ruffles, but needed something to cover the ugly boxspring. I really didn’t know this product existed until I started digging. It went on easily and has stayed put. I am purchasing more for our other box springs.
