I have been using pieces of astroturf cut to size over potty pads inside of a crate tray for a potty area when it's bad weather or late at night. It works well enough but it's annoying to cut it to size and it's unwieldy and heavy to wash it at that size. I stumbled across these and they're way better for this purpose because of the built in drainage system and ability to detach them to thoroughly clean.So far I've made no effort to fluff them to hide the lines between tiles but I can tell they will still be there no matter what, though you could make them look like some of the review pics show. It's definitely fake-looking grass, but that is to be expected at this price point. I certainly wouldn't be happy with these to actually use in my yard or something but they're great for peeing on if you don't want to use plain potty pads.I noticed people saying they were hard to attach so I tried the version marked as having a new locking system. It looks as shown in the pics for that version. It was easy enough. The only real issue was when the grass got in the way but I just had to lift it and then attach. Three attachment points per side. They stay together well enough to be able to lift the edge and pull potty pads out from underneath but not so securely that they're hard to disassemble.Update: Downgrading a star because the new locking system is getting annoying to use especially when handling pieces with dog pee to clean them. I wanted to love this for my business photos, grass floor pictures look so much nicer but no it was cheap. Even if I rubbed it to release the grass shrubs from being completely flat it looked bad. I probably got a bad batch,

So honestly a little smaller than I thought when I bought it. Also the “clicks” or “snaps” that hold it together are garbage. They’re hard as hell to get together and come apart sooooo easily! Mine is just for a small area of my apartment patio So I live with it. Also super slippery when nothing is placed underneath of it.

I was kind of disappointed but then the neighbor kid put them together. And it looked way better.Feels great, dog loves it! Drains well( the two panels on the left for comparison)

Not sure what to say about this. It fit my purpose. I wanted grass on my balcony. With the backing and underlayment that the grass is built on, it keeps the balcony cool to walk on and it's permanent enough for no worries, but - if I have to move it, it will come apart easily to pick up and refashion. I have all I need right now, but, if I did need more, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again. BIG PLUS - shipment is super speedy!!!

Got these after having tried every which way to get the ikea version together: but the joints are either misshapen or too tight that even with two roommates helping we couldn't get half of them together.Ordered these since they seemed like the leasy cheesy looking artificial grass tiles and we noticed the joints are a little larger and go out from under the tile - a better designthe problem though is that they're too loose, so they really don't click together at all. Not to mention 6 pieces is virtually nothing and they're pretty overpriced for what they are. Another issue is when I bought them I knew I'd need WAY more than 6, but if you try to order more than one set amazon/the seller won't let you and you get hit with "only one item per customer"I figured I'd order them and see if they worked and if they did my roommates could order more and I'd pay them back.It rained not long after setting them up so really can't return them now, but I definitely won't be ordering more as planned

I like the product a lot except for the fact that it begins to retain odor after awhile even after washing it.
