BCW 1-Screw 20 pt Trading Card Holder - 10 ct

Ok. Long story short (The 1-Screw Down Trading Card Holder) is not state of the art, nor are card traders and collectors using them now. They are all going to the magnetic ones etc. But for the average Joe like me that wanted some of his favorite teams (Giants & Knicks) cards protected in something more than a top loader sleeve this is 100% perfect. The price is crazy low and you can get double the amount of these than it would cost for the magnetic ones (while supply’s last) I have and will buy more of these. You can’t beat this price for some very good but not great protection for your cards. Cards fit well and it’s only 1 screw rather than the old school 4 screw downs.

This may be somewhat of a nitpick but the cases I received were all new and sealed and delivered on time but there was imperfections on almost every case in the pack. Not from previous use or anything, but seemingly from the production process. They look like minor dents or scratches ON the cases but they're inside the case, like a piece of debris got stuck during the molding process (tried to take a picture but it doesnt show what I mean very well). It made admiring the cards in them less desirable. These cases also dont work well with sleeved cards, which is a must in all cases for me personally.

The last two packages I bought had the same problem. The screws would not recess into the holder. The protruding screw head scratches other holders when stored. I compared the new product with past purchases and the screw heads were definitely different. I contacted the manufacturer and was told that the holders that I had bought were an old design and they no longer had the old screws. What? The screws in the packages I bought did not fit the holders. Clearly a manufacturing problem. I asked for replacement holders for the defective ones and got no response. After buying many holders over 30 years of collecting, I can't believe how little they think of their customers.

Product was mostly okay, but some of the screw holes were bigger that the screw and wouldn't stay closed. I had to replace the screw on two of them with slightly bigger screws that I luckily had at home. They worked fine after that. I would only say that the quality controls might be a little lacking.

good value for card holder but i'm sure better/higher quality exist. about in in four are not easy to insert the screw . in fact i had to jerk around with it for much longer than i would've expected (i'm a decently handy guy so it's not like i'm a stranger to a screw driver). The other 3 of 4 are easy enough to use and get the job done. these holders do the job but if i had a mickey mantle rookie i surely wouldn't be using this product to store it.

Been using this product for years but every time I buy one there seems to be at least one defective case. Gets old after awhile.

I like these card holders. Unfortunately, two of the 10 came without the screw.
