Love these books, love all the characters, the way you get more points of view with each book, the way the story evolves. It's a great trilogy.

Trouble with these reviews is that it’s hard to know what ages they are good for. I have two 15 year olds and this was spot on for them.

This is an amazing trilogy. Written for a young readership I, as a wrinkly grandma nearing eighty years old, have been stunned by the content. I must read the reviews to see what young adults make of it. I have had my heart wrenched out several times and have become breathless at the pace of the action but through it all I have been warmed and uplifted by the love and honesty of the main characters facing the evils of megalomania and desire for revenge. I've got 60 pages to go in the last book and I don't know whether good or evil will win but it's been a roller-coaster ride.

Have not read the books yet so I cannot comment on the story, however the product is in great condition! It is for a gift so I have not opened it, but it looks like great quality, just as it would be had I bought it in a book store! Comes with all three books and a hardcover shell to keep them in. Would definitely recommend as I saved over €20 by buying these all together instead of separately!

Fast paced, challenging and edge of your seat writing. This whole trilogy is outstanding, one of the best things I've. read in a long time. I was still reading at 3am some nights as I NEEDED to know what was coming. The books are graphically violent, but not out of context and they certainly tackle some extremely difficult topics, covering zenophobia, genocide and dictatorships, highlighting how easily people can be convinced to do things that seem so obviously wrong. This is so much more than just another dystopian teen novel, but it would certainly appeal to those who enjoyed Hunger Games and the like.

The charcters and creatures come to life in an astonishing way. I was tearful on ocassion, shouting out loud to the book at decisions and wonderful twists. Cracking series. Teen book? Nope.

Bought these for my daughters birthday, arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Not sure about the content yet, my daughter started reading the first one in her English lesson (Year 7) and asked for the set as a present.

I suggest you read the book before the movie comes out and this book brings about a revolutionary thought as to what being human means and how civilization come into existence. Oh, it is so much more. There is adventure, politics, friendship. Basically everything you could ask for.
