SO much cheaper getting this from amazon than getting them from the big box store. Its a crapshoot if they have them in stock anyway.

This was much easier than replacing the whole faucet. Parts fit and with the new handles it looks like new again.

Honest 4 star review relatable to the one lower down with less stars. These inserts/cartridges certainly aren’t like buyingOEM brand. Its Chinese. The metal cylinders are kinda crooked or the valve stem is. Suggesting anyone who gets these to use teflon tape on the screw that holds the rubber flat washer in, especially on the splitter valve. Everything needs tightened up a little bit after you turn the hot and cold pipes back on so be ready to tighten up the smaller nut and the cartridge to the wall once water is on if you are leaking. The kit works to fix what you got but it takes a good amount of tinkering to get it perfect. Let’s just say I won’t quit my day job. But saved me hundreds. Make sure to grease everything that moves and everything that goes metal to metal.

I purchase the fist kit in 2024. First valve that failed was the deverter valve. The inexpensive o-ring lasted three days. Water from tub and shower head same time. A new kit arrived a week later. Take the o-ring go the hardware store and buy package of 50. Poor design. Purchase boiler washers,lock tight for washer screws: cheap washers and loose screws promote early failure. Purchase valvestem grease,stems shipped dry to promote early failure. Purhase removal socket, the flimsy one provided just rounds out. Grease the stems, lock tight the washer screws. Install seats and valves; Turn on water, tighten valvestem packing nuts,slow and easy until leaking at stem stop retighten as needed. Purchase another kit for the following year. Lather rinse repeat. This company sells parts no profit in making parts that will last. Lather rinse repeat. I replaced parts 3 times in one year. Note: you do not need to shut the water off every couple of weeks to replace the deverter o-ring if your cold and hot valves do not leak.

Better price than big box stores. Good quality. The valve wrench coming with it makes it easy and you don't have to go hunt your other one.

I got my package on time- but the package was broken. It seen all contents are inside and not used , reason why I didn’t return items.. I haven’t installed the product, let’s hope I have no issue with installation due to a missing part.
