BOSS Audio Systems 752UAB Single-DIN CD MP3 Player Receiver, Bluetooth, Detachable Front Panel, Wireless Remote

I bought a 1996 Classic Silverado truck that had the original stereo with separate CD player that needed replacing. I rely heavily on reviews before I make any purchases but I decided to "roll the dice" on the Boss 650UA. At 50+ years old I didn't see the need to spend huge money on a stereo for a standard cab truck. One concern that I had was compromising quality for price. WRONG ! What started as a stereo and new speakers has blown into a system that's nothing short of AWESOME !I know there are those who have unlimited funds that spend thousands on a great stereo, I'm not one of those people.I bought the Boss 650UA Head Unit, Boss CH6530 Chaos Exxtreme 6.5 " door speakers, the Boss CH4630 4x6" speakers for the rear posts and a Sound Storm EV 400 4 channel amp. It sounded pretty good but lacked bass. I could have stopped there but I continued to improve the system over the next two weeks.Next was the Sound Storm SSL S4EQ Equalizer. (Sound Storm is Boss). Then I bought 2 Boss Audio CXX10 Chaos Exxtreme 800 Watt 10" Subs and a Boss Audio R1100M Riot 1100 Watt amp to drive them. I was on a roll so why stop there ? lol Next was the Boss Audio NX694 6x9 4 way 800 Watt full range speakers with a Boss Audio PT 1000 Phantom Amp to drive them. All packed into a Standard Cab truck. lolAlso bought a 2 Farad Capacitor and a Power Distribution Block just to be safe. Getting ready to complete my system with 2 Tweeters and then I'm finished.So with everything said and done I have less than $ 400.00 into this entire system and let me say it ROCKS ! No engine noise, no distortion, just crystal clear and clean music at an affordable price. The 2 Subs under the seats sound fantastic !I could have bought the Clarion, the Alpine etc., and the price tag would doubled or tripled but for me this is an awesome system that's worth every penny. If I had it to do all over again I wouldn't change a thing !My suggestions would be TAKE YOUR TIME ! It's any easy "Do It Yourself" install if you follow the wiring diagrams that are provided. Also use the thickest gauge wiring that you can -Amps, Speakers, Battery, Ground, etc.. Don't buy a great system and then skimp on the wire !As far as the negative comments go, I would ignore them. Boss makes quality audio at affordable prices.I would have to recommend Boss Audio to everyone !!!

I own a 2000 Land Rover Discovery series II and have the Harman Kardon system. I replaced the Factory am/fm cassette player with this unit. I used an adapter and it plugged right into the harness in my system as well as the one for the factory amp. It has worked flawlessly for me and the remote works great as well. The only thing I did not do is buy the device that allows for my controls on the steering wheel to control the head unit. That is made by a different company and is more expensive than this head unit. I highly recommend this unit. The usb works flawlessly and with the remote one can scroll through either track number, folder name, artist, or however else one has it set up on their thumb drive. I am using a 32gb drive currently. The cd player function is great as well as the sd card reader. The radio reception is not as good as the factory head unit but I am not that concerned as that is more the design of the radio antennae components in a Rover.

Radio works great and was fairly simple to put in (with the right equipment). Radio is fairly simple to use. My only complaints are the way the Bluetooth functions with the phones & the remote control that it comes with. The Bluetooth doesn't really have a menu system its just always in "pairing" until it finds a partner to communicate with. It would be nice if it had a menu display where I could select which phone in the vicinity I wanted to pair with. The remote that it comes with is a flat, chinsey, rectangle. I'm sure it will break soon.

I bought this for a vehicle i don't drive but twice a week - to the airport, and maybe when we go camping. i installed it, and had a decent time wiring it, it was very clearly labeled, and my vehicle had matching wiring so it wasn't a science experiment trying to install it.for the first month, this thing worked GREAT. I am a heavy podcast user, and the bluetooth worked famously, i didn't have to connect my phone each time, and the sound was just fine through my factory speakers.then this week, when i parked, it shut off with the car, then didn't turn back on. i thought i had a fuse issue, but that was not the case, i then checked my ignition and even replaced the ignition switch, as the radio would come on at odd positions when i turned the key on, and if i started it while this was the case it would stay on. however it did not come on again without lots of messing round with the ignition key, so i replaced it.however, as i kept working on this, i noticed my manual controls on the radio, like the volume dial and the band dial didnt work on the radio, but did with the remote.it was then i surmised that this radio is defective. i have just found this out after spending over 100 dollars in replacing parts on my car that were not faulty.I LOVED the radio, but do NOT like the durability of this unit (four weeks).i will see what it will take to return it, and if i can get a replacement unit that works fine and stays working this review will go up much higher. i just feel like the quality of this unit might be in question.UPDATE: this is indeed an issue with the radio, no other wiring issues were found - just that the radio had a dead short in it. not good quality, reducing to 1 star since i cannot return.

Buen producto, la relación calidad precio es muy buena, buen sonido, bluetooth sin problemas, estetica, demmesiadas caracteristicas, manual debe de ser más completo con ejemplos y fotos de cada caracteristica. Muy bueno.

I use it mostly for the bluetooth feature. I listen to my music and receive call with it and it works great with my Oneplus one cellphone. Had it for 2-3 months now and I'm really happy about it. Worst thing for me is that I can't see the time with it.

Hello, originally I thought it was dead out of the box, however after playing with the wires, I found that if the "memory" cable was also attached to the power cable then it worked, so I wired the two together and the ground attached as expected, and not it is fine. Kind of weird and not mentioned anywhere in the instructions, but after that it worked great and has been an excellent product.
