You won't find "get rich quick" tactics in this book. I found that each chapter (there's three on marketing alone!) cleverly develops off of each other to form a true action guide for implementation. Speaking of implementation, the book has a companion support system via the ClickMillionaires membership, so you also have the opportunity to develop group support to help climb the summit of success. As an online newbie, I find the combination of the book's content with the membership community, to be a great partnership/mentorship value-added benefit, particularly when dealing with the rapid pace of change in the online arena in addition to my own doubts and fears which is normal for any entrepreneurial journey. Read this book, and more importantly apply it, and it will meet you where you are - at the start of your own journey of Internet Riches!

I found this book to be just what I needed to get started with an internet business...now! There are lots of inspiring ideas presented here, and plenty of information for even a non-techie like myself to feel confident enough to jump right in and take action. The book covers areas such as brainstorming for ideas, business models, choosing target markets, web hosting, domain names, building a site, marketing your e-business, and legal issues. Inspirational stories of successful start-ups are also included in the book.Scott's tone throughout Internet Riches is one of a personal coach leading you through your options, inspiring you to really think about what it is you want to do. I realized that for me, the answer was a business in nature photography because that's where my passion lies. It might seem obvious to have a business that encompasses your passion, but believe me, you can come up with a lot of excuses to not pursue it. Scott's book peels away those excuses...it was like a friendly kick in the pants to just get going and do something! Due to his clear, friendly writing style, I felt I could tackle the logistics of starting an on-line business -- and this was very important to me -- without spending much money.I've recommended this book to friends, and truly believe that it's an invaluable resource for anyone who's interested in starting an e-business but is unsure about how to proceed.

There are so many books and articles promising to send me, a newbie, on my way to being a millionaire. Geez, I've fallen for them all, bought them and read them. And I get stuck on putting up my website and making it work every time. That's because they are a load of junk, even though the information may be technically correct. If you're a newbie like me, they probably won't work for you either. After reading this book by Scott, I got sent down a more serious road to actually learning something worthwhile and how to apply it. Yes, he does mention the "millionaire" bit on his cover. But he'd done his market research and knew people like me wouldn't have bought the book otherwise. This book is an easy read for those of you trying to find your way out of an information fog. His techniques work out (if you're willing to learn rather than just read.) I'm still not a millionaire. But I did get enough serious information from this book to set me on my way to earning real income. My website is up and launched. It's also an easy read for those of us not so tech-savvy. His case studies are interesting and informative too. Normally I don't get much out of reading case studies and authors often seem to use them as a filler or selling point in their books. Definitately a book that will stay on my shelf and not given away.

If you are considering starting an on-line business, and you have not decided yet on what type of e-business you want, this book is a great "first stop." I had already done some research and had planned my product, so the book didn't really apply to me until about half-way through. Even so, I found his book to have a lot of great ideas and suggestions. I appreciate that he has a website which he keeps updated of his "favorite" sources. I also found it easy to read and understand.One part that I also really appreciated was that at the end he gives you a lot of encouragement. I had started to wonder if it was really worth trying my idea, but after reading his last chapter I realized, as he said, that you can quit anytime, so why before you even start?If you have a lot of experience or background in this field, his book may be too simplified for you; however, if you are just beginning, he is a great resource!

I first learned about the book through a talking book from the Texas state library. I am legally blind so I qualify for the talking book program. I was so interested in what I heard that I bought a printed copy through Amazon.com. I have to use a 5-power hand-held magnifier as I read through the book. I make certain markings in the margins whenever I read something I need to know for starting an online business. I've already discovered my niche-business; it's something that I really enjoy doing. I can picture myself selling the product(s) through vendors on my yet-to-be-constructed web site. However, since the book has been available to the public over a decade, are some of the listed web site addresses still useful? For example, I tried to get to the InternetMillionaireSecrets.com web site, but I found out that it was no longer working. Instead, I was redirected to Scott Fox's current web site. I was going to follow all the steps listed in the book to start-up my own online business. But now I'm not so sure what to do? Should I forget about the book and go on to Scott Fox's other books?

It's an inspireing, easy-to-follow book with some good ideas. It gives you a firm basic idea of how you could get started. I'm testing one of his suggestions. If I strike it rich I'll probably write a longer review about the usefulness of the book. One thing: the HTML tips he shares with us are pretty out-of-date, as one should use CSS to format a webpage, not spacer gif's or tables for layout. But that's just a tiny thing. A good book overall.

Buy it.Scott Fox takes you through a well thought out process to help you come up with realistic business that you can run on line. You also get all the tools that you need to make this happen and a great deal more, too.You will benefit from this book if you want to establish a web based business from scratch or are looking to enhance a website already online.I learned a huge amount from this book. There are ways of making money that I did not know about. I have been able to come up with my own business proposition as a result. I have bought more than one book on the subject and I would recommend that you buy this one.

After getting some great ideas for online business from  Lifetime Riches: How to Start and Run a Successful Online Business  (great book, I higly recommend it) I realized that I needed more information on how to start an online business. This author goes into depth on running an online business and different ways you can make a profit from your websites such as using ecommerce shopping carts, using ebay and also explains how to develop killer content for your website. I also like how the author gives examples of different online businesses that you can refer to as examples of what he is discussing. Overall, a great book for anyone who has an online business. Lifetime Riches: How to Start and Run a Successful Online Business

It's well written and easy to read with good examples. Very helpful and practical tips on the internet business.

This guy knows how to write a book. Yes it is a little old but it’s so detailed. I only hope he writes more books
