It’s slightly thicker than double knitting worked on a size 5.5. Crochet hook

The detail says to use a us 1-9 crochet hook. does anyone know what size that translates to in the uk?

I used a 5mm hook...you could easily use hooks from 4.5 to 6 but 5mm felt comfortable to me.
