Bosch SP0F000050 Style Line 2" Mechanical Vacuum/Boost Gauge (Black Dial Face, Black Bezel)

I installed this on my 1996 K2500 6.5 diesel. It's great, especially for the price. Only problem I encountered is that they are stingy with the included roll of tubing and on my truck it is stretched tight to reach from the intake plenum, through the firewall to the dash. I like that the backlighting on this one is incandescent rather than LED so it can be dimmed. I spliced the backlight wire into the dimmer wire that goes to the radio and it works well, not too bright at night like some aftermarket stuff. The black face blends nicely with the dash, and the Bosch name looks cool even if it is made in China.

Love this gauge, previously I had the VDO and where the VDO was quite slow to react this one is spot on, you can see avery movement of the throttle in the needle. It does not suffer from any sort of vacuum or boost sputter as some other gauges do, which is the typical vibration of the tip of the pointer needle which then requires an actuator or muffler to soften.Mine is installed on a Volvo V50 with 2.5L Turbo Engine.

i wouldn't bet the farm that it isn't a knock off though. most quality gauge cost twice as much as i paid for this but 3 months (15k miles) later its still working. fit and finish are good. my only knock was it came with a short vac/boost line, i had to run it close to the turbo and promptly melted it. a longer line let me run it further away. knowing my boost range really did help me with over heating and pulling a grade.

Installed it in my 92 volvo 940 and seems to work well. I didnt use the plastic vacuum line that came with it, bought new silicone line- way easier to deal with on install.

The gauge is typical cheap Chinese quality - it is "good enough" for us budget minded individuals. The included nylon line is absolute garbage. You will never get it to uncoil properly, it will break multiple times, any tiny fraction of stress/bending at the connections will cause the line to break and then your compression fitting is ruined. If you buy this, buy some 1/8" copper or better tubing to use. Oh, and the universal law of the universe is that the 6ft supplied in the kit is going to be JUST A TINY BIT too short for your application.

Its a great gauge pretty accurate but due to the nylon tobe its hard to install

Initially I had a problem with the gauge rattling when above 10psi to combat that take some cotton ball cotton and jam about a 1/2 ball into the fittings. With the increased resistance from the cotton ball any rattle should stop though you might see a little lower peak PSI. Overall pretty happy with the gauge now that the rattle annoyance has been resolved.
