My review yesterday was wrong and unfair
I wrote a 1 star review yesterday which was wrong and unfair. The real problem is that the installer did not properly crimp the connector. That is the reason that it would not fit into ports or couplers. I am going to have a different installer provide their own connectors so my 5 stars to make amends for the wrong statements yesterday. When properly crimped this is a good product and the pass through is certainly easier.

Proactive seller
The seller contacted me to inform me that they had updated the description with a lower maximum diameter allowed for the wires to 1.16mm. The cable in my original review has 1.19mm wires (solid core + insulation).I am glad the description is now reflecting the product correctly.-- original reviewDoesn't work for 23AWGI have crimped quite a number of shielded cat5 for work before. I have some idea about what I am doing.Technically, with enough persuasion, you can get the 8x23awg in this connector. But this an incredibly frustrating experience. I had to re-cut and retry 5 of 6 times before I could get one successful crimp. After 1h30 I had the two ends of a test cable crimped.Clearly the tolerances are too tight. Not only it is almost impossible to pass all the wires through without bending them. And then fighting with needle nose pliers. But you can also easily damage the insulation or the wire itself after repetitive bending. Any fatal mistake, and you have to cut 10 more centimeters out of your cable and try again. Then came the issue of cutting the protruding wires. You would think it would be quick work with a pair of flush cutters. Sadly, the plastic tab of the connector gets in the way. You can never cut them flush. Which means that they wont fit in many rj45 receptacle. I tried using a thin blade to cut them flush, but that only mangled the wires and probably shorted some together.Which leads me to the final cable test. Two wires, where shorted together. My guess is the insulation stripped during the insertion, and they got somewhat crimped together.24AWG or thinner would likely fit well in the connector. But you would still have the issue of cutting the protruding wires flush.

Not the easiest to use, but they work and are good value
DO NOT GO BY THE WIRING DIAGRAM ON THE JAR (see photo). It has the same picture for both T568A and B configurations. If you’re doing B, thE provided picture is a *miswire.* Consult a reputable diagram. Still, that’s the only problem I’ve found with these, and am satisfied with the purchase.Leave your wires long, as it is rare to insert them flat (as normal) and have them line up properly in the over-under configuration. It’s much easier to individually thread them in by hand which means burning a little more wire, but I bought 1000’ so that’s not a huge concern for me. Kind of a PITA to get right, but they work well when properly installed. If you’re doing a large volume of cables, you might look for an easier configuration as these take time to get right, and patience is a virtue. I have super-thick outdoor Cat6A 23 AWG solid copper cabling, and I have to “squish” the jacket about 2-3cm back from the exposed pairs to get it to slide in. Still, it’s solid when crimped and makes a high quality cable. Don’t forget to order boots!

Wish I would have started with these
These things are great! I was working with some outdoor rated STP Cat 6 and couldn't get it to work with standard connectors. I bought passthrough connectors for the first time and that was an improvement but I was still having a rough time getting all of wires in and, once I did, I still had problems where all 8 wires wouldn't connect. I finally tried these and the staggered wire connectors were exactly what I needed. My wires went in super quick and easy, and every connection I've made has worked perfectly. I wish I would have started here.

Buy these coz they're Guided, 3 prone gold plated, sturdy connectors
I have been wiring networks here and there for many years, and just finally figured these out thanks to whoever invented these, these just made wiring and basically life easier, and just gives you no chance to make any mistakes on wiring. I have purchased these first time to try for my small business Network system setup, and I literally got the job done half the time I supposed to get it done for.Greatly appreciated ease of useWell made sturdy plastic3 prone gold plated contact tipsPass through rj45 modularEconomicZero failure chanceLatch is quality, doesn't breakGuided paas through channel makes it much more easier.I Would definitely recommend these connectors when considered price and quality.Buy these without hesitation. I have searched for hours, these have the best price and best quality.NOTE FOR THE SELLER/MANUFACTURER: WIRING SCHEME YOU HAVE ON LABEL 568A IS CORRECT BUT 568B IS SAME ON THE LABEL WITH 568A, LABEL NEEDS CORRECTION 👍

Not good connectors - unreliable terminations
Extremely frustrating! I have been terminating cat 5/6 for over 20 years and I have never had as many issues as I have had with these connectors. They seem to have about an 80% failure rate and a tendency to short out pins 7&8. Each termination requires multiple crimp attempts. I thought maybe my crimping tool was bad, so I ordered different brand pass-through connectors but didn't have the same issue with my crimping tool. I threw these in the trash and will not reorder this brand again.

Nice connectors!
I had put ethernet lines in my house since I was switching to internet TV and wanted the rooms to have a hardwired connection. I paired this with shielded CAT6 ethernet lines and I can say that I am very impressed with how sturdy and durable this is. Speeds have been flawless and easy to terminate (put together)
