Excellent for keeping surfaces free of grease , hence safe and all that goes with pastry making. Very good price, so it's not difficult to replace it , if necessary if you need to. Well made Good size. Folds neatly and tiny for storage Washes fine and dries quickly.

I would have given it 5* as on the first use it was fantastic and kneading bread on it was so easy needing no extra flour and the dough didn’t stick. However, I then washed it in soapy water on both sides and when I used it again it didn’t stick to the surface. I now have to wet the underside for it to stick to the surface and that only lasts a short while before having to weigh it down with heavy objects. I was so disappointed as it worked so well the first time.

Very good for rolling out pastry the mat doesn’t move and keeps the work top clean. Easy to clean mat and maintain. Great for working on as it has measurements you can use to roll pastry out for size. Good value for money.

This silicone mat is just brilliant, easy to clean and wipe down after each use. Sometimes depending on what you are baking you may need a little touch of flour on the mat, but most of the time you don't when I make bread because the mixture is sticky it then needs a little helping hand with extra sprinkle of flour to stop itself gluing to the mat, but apart from this the silicone mat is so so easy to use and to store away you just fold it all up after each use I would highly recommend one, much easier than using a glass board or a worktop.

I originally thought that this would be a solid board but was surprised (and initially disappointed) to find it was a thin sheet. However, this was better - it came folded so was easier to store, sat securely on my worktop while I rolled out pastry, etc, and washed up really easily. I'm a convert ;>)
