UHPPOTE Access Control Power Supply 12V for Door Electric Lock Intercom Camera Doorbell (Input:110-240VAC Output:12VDC)

I bought a kit, then an addition keypad and power supply. Nothing was quite working right and I needed support. If you message the company through Amazon, they’ll get back to you the next day, timezones, they are in China. I had some back-and-forth with a very nice woman named Cecilia. At one point I thought one of the items they sent me was defective, she asked for my address and said she would send a replacement right away. Eventually I took everything apart, and put it back together, and everything worked perfectly. So I don’t know what the problem was, but I’m sure it was my fault. Good product, at a very good price, with very helpful support; if you understand the back-and-forth will be a once a day message.

Love this power supply. This is the least expensive version I have seen. It is identical to a few other options available at a higher price on Amazon. The instructions that came with one is a little more confusing that available with one of the other devices on Amazon, but it will be sufficient if you have electrical skills or training. I love that the device powered can be connected with either Normally Closed or Normally Open. The Pushbutton for our purposes is powered via reed switches which works great for our purpose. You could also use a momentary switch if your purpose is to make a momentary change to the NO/NC output. Very easy to assemble and work with. The only complaint is that the power leads have not on/off switch, thus the only way to disable the power supply is to unplug it, or install your own switch. Easy workaround​, but would be a nice addition for those that wanted to turn off the power supply.

Likes: Fits well in the liftmaster battery box with the rest of the gate logic hardware. Easy to connect and the default timing works well (releases before movement, and locks 30 seconds after gate finishes closing). Instructions are easy to follow, but my advice is to read them carefully to know which label to connect to. Dislikes: Minor, but I couldn't change the default delay timing very much using the adjustment screw. It seemed to range from 28 sec to 31 sec. Maybe that's by design, but I would have preferred a shorter locking delay. Still I'm satisfied and it's a good product.

Used with two cabinet locks that require power when locked. ( NC) this unit stayed cool. Only hassle was the power input wires. If you don't mind exposed wire and wire nuts it's not a problem. But if you want a pro job you will need to attach a junction box, or add a power cord. But it seems to work well, and runs cool with no audible hum.

I had this installed to automate a gate and connect with with my video doorbell. Wish it came with a cover for outdoor installation but otherwise good quality. Works like a charm so far. It's been installed for 2 weeks with heavy gate traffic. No issues.

Used this power supply to power a simple, low cost door strike with two open buttons. I like that it has a timer relay that allows the strike to stay unlocked for however long you want up to a think a minute. I set mine for three seconds and my client was very happy with the end result.

Simple, nice device (assuming you know the difference between no and nc). Like I said, it works.

I had a contractor install the power supply 18 months ago. Recently I looked at the Amazon image and saw that it has inputs for battery backup so I bought what I needed to add the battery. But when I opened the box I found that the unit didn't have the terminals or labeling for the battery backup. I tried to get support from the UHPPOTE website but it gave an API error and wouldn't accept my questions. Now I'm stuck with a battery that's not returnable because what I received is not what I ordered.

j'ai eu juste un problème de branchement car le schéma de l'installation ne correspondait pas tout à fait avec le schéma d'installation du terminal que j'utilisais. Mais cela a été résolu rapidement. Je recommande.

It does the job and you can feel the build quality. I thought it was going to be some flimsy plastic chasis for the price but it is a solid metal case with clearly marked patching labels and firm mounting brackets.
