Will not buy from this seller again.
I bought two of these cameras. I installed them both onto my 2005 GMC Sierra 2500 HD Crew Cab. Plenty of wire came with the camera. When unboxing I was pleasantly surprised to see a card with a free DVR as a gift from the seller. The card states to contact the sell via email to receive the free gift. I did and they advised they were out of the DVR’s but offered a 4” screen. I never received, even after contacting multiple times with no response. I installed one camera as forward facing, clip both white (reverse view) and green (no backup lines) wires at the cameras plug for forward facing or side view. The second was installed as a backup camera. I utilized a relay for each camera and utilized an independent fused circuit for each camera. They don’t draw hardly any amperage but I wanted clean power. For the back up camera I tapped into the backup lights as my trigger wire for the replay and my head unit. The forward facing camera I utilized an ignition wire. Both cameras worked beautifully for a few days. Super clear picture. Couldn’t of asked for a better picture. But the picture deteriorated rapidly to the point I could distinguish anything on the screen for either camera. I contacted the sell multiple times over a couple weeks utilizing two of their email address regarding this issue. No response at all. On my own I’ve learned the connections to the camera will get moisture inside them. Definitely not waterproof. Utilize dielectric grease and water proof electrical tape to clear this issue up if the camera isn’t already compromised. My forward facing camera is trashed. I believe moisture built up and ruined it. I contacted Amazon and as always were very helpful. They immediately sent me another camera to replace the forward facing camera. THANKS AMAZON!! I give the original seller a 0 on customer support. Thanks for nothing. **UPDATE. I’ve had 4 of these cameras replaced and only one is functioning correctly. Finally. When I initially plugged in camera number four of replacements the picture was black and white. I wanted to rip the camera off with my bare hands and smash it I was so mad. I did a little reading and discovered the camera was stuck in night vision mode, duh. Actual I had no clue. I unplugged for a few and plugged it back in. Working great for the last few weeks. If I had to do all this over again I definitely would not purchase this brand or from this seller. I really wanted this camera to workout but they’re junk.

Great license plate camera!
I installed this license plate camera on my 2010 Honda Civic (sedan, 8th gen) to my Sony head unit. What interested me was this rear camera didn't have the cheesy LED lights as I installed this to always be powered on and I can access view of my rear anytime I wanted. I still have it trigger when placing the car in reverse but its a nice touch to time to time be able to pull up on view of the back of my car. Overall the picture quality is decent. The view during the dark/night is pretty good! It doesn't need that much lighting to be able to see. My reverse lights alone on my particular car light up the rear to be be able to see things when reversing. I highly recommend this rear camera especially on the sedan 8th gen civics. You don't need to drill any holes either! You can remove one of the plastic plugs that holds the license plate trim molding and feed the cable wrie through there! I suggest adding a rubber grommet to seal the hole and to tighten the opening when the wire feeds through the hole.

Good Backup camera for parking, but not recommended as rear view mirror for driving or maneuvering.
The image quality of the camera is greater than the backup camera that I was using but you need also to use an improve display to notice the difference. You can receive for free a 4" which allow you to notice the improved image quality. However the image might be small for your usage. For helping you when you backup into a parking slot this can be sufficient, however In my particular case I need a rear view camera to see in great detail the coming traffic when I try to backup to enter into my driveway or to backup into the traffic to exit from my driveway. I have a Blackvue DR900 dashcam recorder which has front and rear view cameras of HD quality but I need to use my smartphone to look at the image which is outstanding but a little cumbersome as I need to connect by WiFi to the dashcam every time I want to look at the image. I was thinking to use the F2 Camera from Xroose, however the quality as a rear view is not sufficient to check the ongoing traffic, in particular to see any bicycles, electric bicycles, or electrical scooters which become very popular but move very fast and are difficult to notice. So in conclusion the F2 Camera from Xroose is a good Backup camera to help when parking in a narrow parking spot, but I would not recommended it as rear view mirror use to check if you can securely change lane when driving or if you can securely backup into a parking spot when doing parallel parking in a street or to maneuver to enter into or to exit from a driveway. I would like to add that I receive a very good and fast online support.

Great quality camera
I bought this camera to go with a new large LCD screen radio I bought for my CRV. The install was super easy. It includes a wire for the video and a wire to trigger the radio to show the camera output. I like the way it very easily mounts behind the license plate. Video quality is very good day and night. I was leery about the night time quality since it doesn't have a built in light, but it does not need one. It's been through some rain and snow and a few car washes and no signs of trouble. Good price for a great quality camera.

Great image quality.
I’ve done a couple of backup cameras on cars and trucks, and the picture quality on this one is definitely one of the better that I’ve seen. I installed this on a 2002 Dodge Durango over the rear license plate. Even without LEDs like some cameras have, the night picture is very good (at least on my install). The taillights provide adequate illumination to see what’s behind me, even 20’ back. The daytime picture is slightly contrasty, but it’s by no means a poor image and I might be able to adjust that on my screen. I’d rank it up there with some of the near-$100 cameras I’ve seen. The supplied cable was way more than long enough for my install. I had about 8’ left over that I bundled up behind the dash. Installing the camera was a simple matter of screwing it to the license plate bolts and running the small cable through an existing hole in the bumper. So far so good, and I’m happy.

I used this product for 3 months and I am very satisfied. It doesn't come with a monitor but comes with a coupon for a free monitor that was sent to me promptly. Good quality monitor also. This will be a good choice for anybody.
