We have AO Smith RO system for drinking water. We never noticed an odor or taste of unfiltered water. Now that we have this system, the water is crystal clear, a “pure” flavor.We had a friend who was not a believer when I shared this with his family. We did a blind test of unfiltered water and filtered water - they picked filtered water five of five times. With better taste, we are consuming more water.I highly recommend the system and the filter. It seems expensive but worth every penny. Filters are about 15% cheaper on Amazon.

Works with Culligan Aqua-Cleer!
Got a nice Culligan Aqua-Cleer setup from a friend of mine and the RO membrane filter on the system started bypassing way sooner than it should of. Ordered this one on a whim assuming I could modify it and sure enough it works.How to modify: Cut off the areas I have marked red flush with the housing and this will snap right into your Culligan Aqua-Cleer manifold!Way cheaper than Culligan filters and a bit cheaper than the Pure Blue H2O too.Currently still doing the 24 hour flush but will update review after bit of use.Edit: Going on 2 weeks of use and so far everything is great, water taste good, similar to bottled water.

It replaces the old ones you have
If you're using the AO Smith reverse osmosis setup at your home you're loving it and you will also notice that over time it may get slower in dispensing water. First check to make sure someone didn't get water right before you, it all comes out of a tank so if the tank is low then there is low pressure and with low pressure you're not getting your water quickly. If that is not the case then you probably haven't changed out the filters in a while and they're getting dirty. Order these, shut off the water, drain the tank and then pop off and replace the old with new units.

Better than paying someone.
Have these on a schedule. Much cheaper than paying someone who may or may not come change them. These filters are easy to change out.

replace filter portions of existing reverse osmosis unit
The reverse osmosis unit was in place when we bought the home, but the filter installation date was labelled, and over two years old. I could not find replacements at the local home improvement stores, so ordered from Amazon. No problem finding the correct items there. They arrived in good time, and with unusually good installation instructions. Installed them in about two hours, which was good by my standards. No problems at all, and pleased how it worked out. I won't wait two years next time! Previous owner of the home did not change the filters in any timely fashion. I was totally satisfied with the purchase and the experience.
