Geniune oem part
This seems to be a genuine oem part because the Nissan logo is stamped into the metal housing and was an exact fit. Had to replace mine because the foam sandwiched between the metal was totally black and crumbling apart. I'm sure the Nissan dealer would've charged much more for this part although I haven't checked.

I was pleasantly surprised when I received the item within 1 week. The price was good and was an item that was placed, in my car, within 10 minutes. So far, so good! My check engine light is on again but I know what it ''isn't'' for!

Part eliminated problem with check engine light.
OBD2 scan tool indicated EGR problem. EGR valve checked ok but found that the old EGR modulator proved to be the problem. Replaced and no more check engine light. EGR modulator is typically found near EGR valve.

PERFECT! I got this to replace the one on my 97 Nissan Pathfinder and it was the exact same one! I was a bit worried that their isn't a picture of the bottom of the valve but it is exactly what I needed and for a lot cheaper!!
