Simply outstanding
Even water cooled pcs require air flow to cool off their reservoirs, and dust collecting in radiators is just as annoying for rigs that are all air cooled. My main gaming rig is housed in a Corsair Obsidian 800 case that I mostly cool via airflow from 3 120 mm top mounted fans and a bottom mount 140mm fan. I recently switched to negative air pressure (normally I prefer positive air pressure, but I saw significant cooling improvement by switching to negative) and purchased 3 new Noctua fans. I used to use a competitors air filter that had a hexagonal grid and was rated at being able to filter fine dust, while those filters did in fact do a good job, they had to be cleaned with increasing frequency as the filter material eroded with each cleaning. After some research of varying other filters, I decided to give the Silverstone Tek a try. Wow, what a difference. First off, due to the configuration of my box, these go on the top vent, I don't even need to screw them into the case as the magnet frame adheres my steel frame very snugly. Secondly, I did a smoke test to see how much the air was being moved with the filters present and when they weren't. Though I'm sure some hindrance was present, with the naked eye I couldn't see any, the fans pulled in air just as fast with or without the Teks in place. I did the same test with unused filters of the previous sort as I had bought a entire box of them at the time and was curious to see how those held up against the Teks. I won't bore you with the nitty gritty details, same smoke test, and I could see a definite impact on how much air was being pulled through, the Teks won hands down. Cleaning these things is a snap, though in part its due to how they're mounted on my rig, I just peel them off soak, rinse then air dry overnight and then slap them back into place with very little fuss. Someone who has actually mounted these with screws will have a more involved process obviously, but the filters themselves clean up very easily if you put a little effort into taking advantage of their features. As far as their performance at filtering dust is concerned, that will take a while to test but so far I've seen zero buildup on my brand new fans. I'll update this review in a month or so with further input.

Excellent Fan Filter – Clean, Effective, and Looks Great!
I recently picked up the SilverStone Technology FF143W 140mm Ultra Fine Fan Filter, and I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The quality is outstanding – the mesh is fine enough to catch even the tiniest dust particles while still allowing plenty of airflow through. It makes a huge difference in keeping the inside of my case clean and dust-free. Installation was a breeze. The filter fits perfectly over my 140mm fans, and the build feels sturdy yet lightweight. I also really appreciate the sleek white finish – it blends seamlessly with my case and adds a clean, professional look. After running it for a couple of weeks, I can already see how much dust it has prevented from entering my system. It’s easy to remove and clean, so maintenance will be simple going forward. If you’re looking to improve airflow management and keep your PC internals spotless, this is absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommended – SilverStone nailed it with this one!

Simple but Effective None the Less
This is as basic as you would expect. A fairly flimsy piece of plastic with mesh attached. However, it works and it works well. The mesh is of a good quality and compared to other filters I have seen and used, this allows a good amount of air in while removing a good amount of dust. This is where the balance lies. A fan filter will always slow and limit air intake but at the same time it will keep a certain amount of dust out of your system. Air flow will always be limited and dust will always get through but you have to decide what is more important. For me and the gaming machines I build, this was effective at the balance of airflow to dust capture ratio. If you clean this filter every so often then it will do as it is intended and keep the air flowing and limit the dust going in. I currently do not use the filter as my case has good and removable filters installed with it, which brings me to what I dislike about this. It does a good job when you're case doesn't come with filters or comes with poor filters but it is rather difficult to remove for a good cleaning. You would have to unscrew the filter each time if you wanted to thoroughly clean it. I think if this magnetically attached to the metal screws holding the fan, this would be an easy five star filter that I could easily recommend, but it is not. For me, my current case has good filters built in that are easily removable so I don't have a need for this anymore. If you have an older case and a lot of dust then this is still an easy recommendation. You can always just vacuum the filter off when it gets congested and that will generally be good enough. If you need protection from dust, the price is reasonable and I'd recommend these as a good option.

Recomendable 100%.
