I seriously think this is probably the best thing I’ve ever bought from cap, it’s built like a tank and a lot more useful than you would ever think

Amazon said it was the shippers fault but this is pure Amazon purchase shipping in their own system.I had someone look at the merchandise to make sure everything was there in the box needed to put item together. Just was not worth taking the disintegrated box into a parcel shipping service be returned.The items in the box I received contained all the parts it seemed, red & white attention warning page, and owner’s manual. There was no clear instructions in my box outside of an assembly montage on the last page in owner’s manual. If there was an actual separate instruction insert there was none available for me.The ATTENTION red and white insert page state that you will need to use a socket and driver in addition to an adjustable wrench to supply enough torque to assemble. When I read the warning I was glad I had the tools to assemble this product. If you do not have the proper tools it may take a moment assemble.Sturdiness of the weight tree rack l received overall is a good design after putting it together. However there are a few odd things about this weight rack tree.Distance between the plate bar holders are close but my old weights from the 1990s are not that bulky like ones from the 21st century.The bolts and steel nuts are in odd locations when plates press on them causing some scratches. However my weights are old so it is not that important for this set of weights.Price was under $80 for this Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack compared to others as well as being sturdier than others. I purchased the one with the red base because it was on sale at the time. The price for the other colors were more expensive for the same item which was odd. The price should be the same if it the exact model for something like this.Overall I am going to keep this and use it. The CAP Barbell Olympic Plate Tree Storage Rack is a solid product that has exceeded my expectations once put together.

I have about 450 lbs of weights on this thing and it is very sturdy. Setup was easy, solid hardware, and it is compact. I also like the bar stand, which provides just enough wiggle room to put the bar in without having it wobble around all over the place. As to the distance, make sure you install the pegs angled up. The 3 prong side had clearance issues for my 10 lb plates and 5 lb plates, but they were non standard. I just stacked them on the same peg and no problem.

I love this little Plate Tree! I will soon have a more robust weight storage system, but I forsee continuing to use this for some of my extra weights, especially the smallest ones. The biggest disadvantage is that it's practically full on the heavy side with 4 x 45s, 2 x 35s, 2 x 25s. However, for a home gym, this might fit all of your weights or at least all of your change weights. I plan to use my main rack storage system for 45s soon, but currently I'm using this for all of my barbell plates and it is super sturdy. Even loading one side with all the heaviest weights, the lean it has is super minor and holds together well. Make sure you install the plate supports at the main load bearing joint or it may not be so sturdy. Overall super happy with this purchase.

Horribly designed. All they needed to do was just make it slightly taller to be able to fit an adequate amount of weights. Instead, unless you’re stacking the same exact weight on multiple levels, you’ll never be able to fit various types of weights on here because the plates will bump into each other. Great concept, but horribly flawed.

Item was delivered timely but, multiple pieces were scratched or paint chipped. This was a little disappointing as I expected the item to be better packaged or reenforced.

Packed very well, though mine had a few minor blemishes on the surface. Otherwise everything was in great shape and went together super easy. Could be prettier but for the price it's hard to beat. Seems very sturdy and holds the weights and my curl bar no problem.
