A good friend has this volume and recommended it. I have found the book to be a wonderful and comprehensive reference and have recommended it to others.

I owned this book and let it go for a prize drawing. Then ordered a used one later bec' it contains such good basic info for various techniques for quilting.It would be a nice gift for a new quilter or someone trying to learn w/o a teacher or mentor.

This is an older book but has great basic information. It includes block patterns and quilting designs and motifs. It is a fantastic book to have in your quilt library.
