For my 6-year-old daughter, this pottery kit gave her so much fun! It is a really practical way to make this easy and fun to use. I helped her a little bit, by creating the basic shape over the mold, then spray some water and my child can then use their hands for the final shaping. Sure it isn't the most powerful motor, but with the molding approach, you don't really need it. I know there are reviews out there about the power of this device or how it works. But for my 6 years old girl, this is a good tool to learn how to pottery.

It’s been a big hit for my kids. There are no directions, but the amazon post has directions on it.

This is obviously made for children using it with supervision. I’m overall happy with this purchase with one exception. It runs on batteries and we all know what that means but it also can run with an adapter which has to be purchased separately. Wish it had come with it or made locating the correct adapter easier. Was gift for GD that lives in another state so can’t see for myself exactly what’s needed.

I bought this for my 10 year old son and he is going to review below; I know how to use a real pottery wheel, Because one time I was on a trip and we were taught how to use. I was first on line and after a quick lesson made a beautiful vase with no help. This workshop is bad The clay will not stick to wheel while spinning even on mode one. The clay in set was way too soft. Any pressure put on clay will stop wheel from spinning. Wire was not included to plug in. This as I told my mother is a waste of money!!!

I purchased this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. She absolutely loves the pottery wheel and ease of using. The problem is we had to figure out how to use it because it did NOT come with instructions. It also DOES NOT come with a power cord. I would have purchased a different one if I knew that. I didn't read the product details thoroughly enough. I would NOT recommend this product, not worth the price. You probably can get a similar pottery wheel with instructions and power cord for the same price.

So happy with this purchase! Have been looking for creative things for my little ones to do, to get them off the video games! This pottery wheel was just the thing! Hours of fun and bonding time. My kids age in range from 8-14 and they all enjoyed it! Easy to use , sturdy and durable! Amazing value!! One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever!

I'm shocked, actually, that it works. I knew it was a toy, but once you get the hang of it, it works pretty well. You can actually make pots! I like that it isn't too fast for a child's sensitive skin, but that it is still fast enough to make the art.

This item did not come with instructions, we had to do our research before using it, also it had a spot for a cord but there is no cord. Very disappointed we had to go after batteries when we found out it didn't have the plug for it. It also doesn't give helpful instructions for what kind of clay and how to use it and how to dry the clay. All a guess on how and what to do with it, for the price it is way to unclear and doesn't have enough clay.
