I will never go liquid again
This did the job of three products. We have 5 people in our house. My laundry day usually means I’m stuck by the washer and dryer all day doing about 5-7 loads. Clothes, blankets, bed sheets and towels. Usually I buy what ever is on sale at the two big clubhouses. I put the big awkward heavy plastic bottle in my cart, pay and bring it home just to spill it and measure and spill some more. I was reading about detergent sheets and the pros (less mess, easier to store and carry, cleaner softer clothes etc plus no more plastic waste) vs the cons (cost vs other liquid detergent). I’m on my 3rd load of laundry so I can’t speak for quick loads yet or heavily soiled clothes but I will tell you what I know right now. I absolutely love this stuff. I didn’t think something like this existed or that it could better my life. But it does exist and it has made my laundry day easier. It’s a sheet. It’s just a simple sheet and it doesn’t feel sticky or weird, more like a sponge. If you have a smaller load you tear the sheet and use that by putting it where you usually put your liquid detergent. I really like the smell. It’s not over powering to me. It smells and feels clean. I found my daughters jacket at the bottom of her closet with dirt on the front. Usually I use the liquid detergent, I pretreat the stains, let them sit, add in the clothes plus the scent boosters and then I can finally start my wash. This time I added everything like I usually do except I only used one of these sheets. No pretreat and no scent boosters. Warm water. No second rinse. I can’t tell you how bright and light my clothes feel. How soft everything is. How it just feels so much cleaner and smells fresh and guess what? Stains are gone! Heavily stuff I’d probably pretreat but average stuff seems to be doing ok so far. It dissolved completely. This is a game changer. The cost might turn people off, and I get that. $8 for 30 average loads is a lot when you could get a container of liquid that does 120 loads for $15. But add pretreating, scent boosters and time of measuring and spilling plus no extra bulky plastic and you might consider this a better option. And did you know liquid detergent is usually 80% water? So $12 is water and $3 is actual detergent. Doesn’t sound like a better idea to me anymore. I don’t think I’ll ever have the liquid again. This stuff is amazing, not just for your clothes but the environment, too. I’d rather pay $8 for 100% detergent vs $15 for only $3 worth of detergentOh and see the top of my washer? All those scratches? My husband put that big bulky liquid container of detergent on my washer and the washer had a not so balanced load. It scratched it all up. I don’t see the sheets doing that.

Space saver and they get the job done
I was hesitant at first to try these, but glad I did. It was hard for me to leave my old laundry detergent. I like to try new ideas, but laundry detergent is basically an item of necessity. So I wasn’t sure I was ready to make a change. After a few months of use I realized there was no loss in the effectiveness of cleaning my clothes or scents. So then I made the decision it was time to ditch the giant container. It’s been so nice and easy using these sheets. And now the laundry area has more free space. Each packaged sheet is really two sheets. You can see the perforation line to easily split. For a normal load I use a full packaged uncut sheet (so two). A lot of times I’ll cut it in half and then just use half a sheet or cut the remaining half in half (so 1.5). And small loads I just use the single sheet (split at perforation).I haven’t had any issues and my clothes seem just as clean. I’m not a mechanic or work around grease, so just normal sweat, dirt and such. I can say it works great on dry-fit gym clothes.I like that I don’t have to awkwardly pull down a big jug, which when new was heavy and had to be sure to not spill.Lastly, on a few trips I’ve taken a few sheets with me inside a ziploc bag. So great to know I can travel and easily transport these inside my bag.

My honest review.. ( not bad except….)
So I wanted to try these laundry detergent sheets for quite a few different loads before I reviewed them. My first time trying laundry sheets and think it’s a nice idea . I am so picky about my laundry as I am sure lots of you are as well. I have super sensitive skin , but I want my laundry to clean really good , get stains out and smell awesome too ☺️.. If DREFT wasn’t so damn expensive I would only use dreft ! It does it all and the smell is so nice . I do purchase it a lot but the price keeps me from buying it every time. Sorry , review is lengthy. The scent on the detergent sheets is nice ( I got the fresh scent one ) can’t smell the scent on clothes after they are washed if that matters to you , some people don’t mind . I wash my white’s together and usually use detergent, oxy clean and yes Clorox too! I know your not supposed to use bleach w/ oxy clean , but I do .. I wash my light colors and pastels w/ detergent and oxy clean and my colors w/ detergent and Oxy if there are stains .FIRST I used the sheets with a medium size pastel wash and used 1 1/2 sheets . They came out clean . Then I used them with a large colored load with my husbands construction wk dirty clothes and used 2 sheets , again not bad , then I tried them with a small white xtra dirty load with rags that I clean my floors with and all that AND I actually put 2 sheets in ( and used bleach as well . NOT SO GOOD! I had to rewash because they smelled still . So here’s my verdict… my opinion, just one sheet isn’t cutting it for me , ( I am picky though) I think I would use them to travel with and to do a load that isn’t particularly dirty . PROS are environmentally friendly and they clean if you use enough sheets and good for sensitive skin. CONS , not saving money because You use a lot at once , at least I did.. wouldn’t use on heavily soiled laundry. So that’s that . All in all They work and they are ok unless you are picky like me😊.. 4 stars for me … hope this review helps ..
