Very happy with the stencil. I've used it a lot already! I have no problem using a mechanical pencil with it. The manuscript paper is decent too.

Great, but sizing was off on some things
Bought this for my boyfriend to help with his assignments in his composition class. He likes it and uses it a lot, but says it’s made for a bigger staff than the standard size so some of the functions of the stencil don’t work well like the note heads (stems are fine tho!). It all depends on what you’re using it for I guess. It does work great with the staff paper that comes with the stencil if that’s what you plan on using it with.

There is a "Composer Template 2" that works with 8.5 by 11.5 10-stave paper. This one does NOT
If you want to use this, you will have to keep a VERY sharp pencil or a VERY fine point marker, like 0.05!!Great concept, but difficult execution with the cutouts so tiny. And as I mentioned in the heading, if you have 8.5 x 11.5 ten-stave paper...like I do...this will not match.
