My hubby gave me a brand new study Bible for our anniversary and the pages are extremely thin so I was very cautious about underlining in it for the first time. I bought these gel pens because they said that they will not bleed through. I decided to try them out on regular paper first. They did not bleed through and I touched the ink immediately after writing each word and it did not smear, so they are definitelyfast drying. Just like traditional gel pens, each one had a little plastic tip that had to be taken off before the pen would write. It's like a tiny little clear dot on the end of the pen. So I scribbled on a used envelope to get that part cleared before I tried them out. Writing on regular paper worked well and it did not show through so I tried it out on my new Bible and I was very pleased. the green is not as bright as I would like it to be, but the rest of the colors are very bright and vibrant. They work perfectly for underlining in my brand new Bible with super thin pages and the ink did not show through on the other side. I love that they have the push button top like a ballpoint pen so you don't have to deal with losing a lid. they have a pocket grip so that you can clip them onto a notebook and if you lay them down on an uneven surface they will not roll away. They also have a nice grip on them which makes them comfortable and easy to hold. Overall I am very pleased and give them five stars.

as described, do not bleed through the pages of my bible. Color of the ink is nice, and they write smoothly. Now, if the pages are very thin, you might see the writing on the next page, but the ink isn't bleeding. I would recommend for making notes in your bible.

These are labeled as Bible pens. You can use them for your Bible and they do not bleed through. But as with any pen, they leave a small impression on the back side of the page. I personally don't like that. However, I do like the pens for other things. Once you get them going (they have a waxy substance on the ball of the pen until you start using them), they write very smoothly and the colors are vibrant. I won't use them for my Bible, but I will use them for other things.

I love to write sermon notes in my Bible, and these pens are exactly what I was searching for! They do not bleed through the fragile pages of my Bible, and the colors are bright and vibrant. They also work great for journaling notes in my Bible notebook. Theypens are motivational; I look forward to using them!

Really nice pens that write in rough paper and do not bleed!!!

I absolutely love these pens for my Bible. They never bleed and they are fine tiped so they cross through the writing you're trying to underline. They're very great for writing notes in your journals as well. Easy to use and functional. The colors are vibrant. They're the ONLY pens I'll use for writing in my Bible.

The Good: These pens have good color and they write smooth enough.A Wish: I would like to see additional colors added.The Bad: While these pens are advertised not to bleed through pages (imparticular the pages in the Bible) they intact do bleed through the pages as the picture taken of my Bible after using them shows.I taught New Testament Greek in Seminary and I developed a color code system to mark, identify, important parts of speech in your Bible as a quick and easy reference when teaching and preaching. Previously I've used Gel Pens for this, but they bleed through so I thought I'd try these pens as they are not supposed to bleed through. Sadly, as you can see, that was false advertisement. I even bought a new Bible, because I need giant print now, to transfer my work to, so the bleed through is quite disappointing.
