Not satisfactory

Written by an accomplished academic, this book is offers a comprehensive insight into the political and cultural processes at play in Modern Europe, from the political maneuvering that created the modern nation-states to the complex narratives that gave us the horrors of fascism and Nazism.

Content not up to the mark. Never buy this if you are preparing for UPSC or other PSCs . It is like a novel without any proper context.

The book clarifies the concept in thematic way and the book is very subjective and it will help in competitive exams selectively and in your academics as well, I was a student of her during my college.

The book is is thematic collection of essays from the perspectives of gender, race, class and nation. The editor of the book makes sure to present an overall picture of Modern Europe avoiding the simplistic and often universalised take on scientific progess and development. Readers will benefit by applying the theories of social and cultural currents of Modern European times to our present day world politics.
