Real Preserved Boxwood Evergreen Globe Tree Topiary in Terracotta Planter Green Plant for Home Decor (Single Ball Topiary, 16 inch Tall)

I HATE plastic "plant" products, but sometimes when I'm decorating for the holidays it's unavoidable. I chose this topiary as a mantle piece because the preserved boxwood lasts a long time and is a real plant product. These are great!I did end up returning this item because my client changed her mind about them, but they would have worked perfectly for our original vision. The green did start to discolor a bit during the 2 weeks I had them, but they held up really nicely in general. With proper storage practices, you could get several (or more!) years out of these.When you receive the item, open the box from the bottom so it can slide out without having to pull up on the top ball. There will be little boxwood leaves that have shedded, but it's not a problem. They probably fell out during packaging and shipping, and you can't tell from the fullness of the balls. It didn't continue to shed when set on a table.I gave 4 stars because some leaves showed a little discoloring after a couple of weeks, but overall this is a lovely product for the price. If this is what you're looking for, I recommend it!

PROS: This is a real preserved boxwood topiary. There were a lot of loose leaves in the box when I opened it, but I believe the topiary was made extra full so this unavoidable shedding during transport would not affect the over all appearance. The packing was very good considering the odd shape and delicate nature of the product. The smell Others have mentioned, and as mentioned by the seller is a natural, dry botanical smell sort of like mown grass or hay. It is not unpleasant and airs out after a few days. The color is bright and natural looking. The pot is cute and rustic/classic, better than shown in the ad.CONS: The over all height on mine was only 18”. There is also not as much “trunk” showing at base or between spheres as advertised, so the look is more squatty and awkward, rather than classic and elegant.OVER ALL: I would rate this topiary “okay” but not a great value for the money. I had hoped to use it as a focal point, but will probably relegate it to a filler position elsewhere. I am a little disappointed.

This is a beautiful topiary. It is a terrific quality for the price. I have wanted one of these for a long time, but have never been able to find one that I liked. It is not plastic so it looks so much better than other topiaries. I am really happy with this purchase.It arrived with a lot of loose leaves in the pot, but I think they are intended to be filler for the pot. I removed some of them and put some reindeer moss in the bottom. I like the way this looks better than the loos leaves.

I am so pleased with these little boxwood trees!! They arrived in absolutely perfect condition and look just perfect on my mantle!! I am so excited to see how they been with my Christmas decorations and continue to bring a warm and homey feeling to my room throughout the months to come. The company was extremely responsive when I emailed a question about the topiaries. I highly recommend this company and their products!

This is a nice quality topiary with a sturdy pot which doesn't feel flimsy or cheap. The color of the leaves has a yellow undertone.

This was packaged carefully and arrived in perfect condition. It’s also true green and looks fantastic! I’ll be buying more boxwoods from this vendor.

I ordered two of the preserved boxwood topiaries. They were well packed and the boxes were marked "Open from Bottom." There were many detached leaves, but the topiaries are full. There is a mild odor when they are first taken out of the box, but it is not a problem.

Added fairy lights and this topiary is perfect on the mantle. Very festive.
