I very rarely review products - but I will make an extra effort here - and that is because this product is wonderful. I got these shirts for less than the advertised $20 but that is still a great value. When getting this product I thought it is not going to last very long -- maybe because of the cost. However, I have made repeat purchases of this product in different colors - THEY WASH UP GREAT! I have other cotton shirts and some polyester that will get a food stain and will not come out when washed; however, every stain on these shirts has come out when washed, without using any stain remover - they also dry super - of course doesn't take long to dry but they look great coming out of the dryer. Again, I've made multiple purchases because THESE SHIRTS ARE GREAT....They are an "Amazon Essential" brand but I would put them up against Reebok, Nike, Champion, etc. anytime - in fact I bought Reebok shirts of similar type and I would get some food stains on them and they would not come out. They fit true to size - I'm a bigger guy so I like my shirts a bit looser (not an athletic body)!! You can't go wrong with these - only wish they came in more colors.

Out of all the big and tall styled shirts that I’ve worn through the last 20 years, this rash guard is the most comfortable and properly sized shirt that I have ever worn. It’s sized correctly in length (always hard to find accurate length on shirts in big and tall sizes). The shirts are incredibly comfortable and can be used for anything. I’ve worn them for gym shirts, rash guard for swimming, undershirts on hot days, and even lounge shirts at a resort. I really do hope Amazon brings these back. They have been a staple in my regular wardrobe for 3 plus years. Best shirts I ever bought.

I use these more as casual work around the house shirts than a swim shirt. It is a high-quality material with a solid weave that I think will be quite resistant to snagging, which can be an issue on shirts like this. It's generously cut and comfortable to wear. It is my new favorite and I will be ordering a few more.6 months later: these are great shirts that I wear for everyday around the house, but I find that the threads get snags fairly easily. I have a number of these shirts in different colors and they all have some snags after 5-10 wears. Still a great shirt, but a bit disappointed.

I am giving this 4 stars for now, because it seems like a nice shirt (light weight and fits as described). I cannot speak to the advertised sun protection, since I have not been able to go to the beach since COVID-19 started... I will try and update this review after further testing.

These are great swim shirts. I bought 3, to go with three sets of trunks I already had. I was previously wearing some lightweight athletic shirts from Target but I got too fat and needed to go up a size. These are a little heavier fabric than an athletic shirt but they still dry out quickly. I was wearing one on a 100-degree day and I had to take it off to avoid getting overheated. I also feel like they run a little bigger than the same size of athletic shirt in other brands.

I am impressed that Amazon has worked with DXL to create these basic products. The reason that I think this is such a good idea, is because many of us that are in this world of XXL, know what sizes of items at a DXL location work for us, as they provide a generous assortment of products for our size of customer. That helped to give me confidence that ordering would not be a trap of repackage and return. And I am glad to say, I could not be happier with the fit.

Big guy here and was concerned it wouldn’t fit. So went up one size and I was very pleased with that decision. Very relaxed shirt. I’m wide shouldered and fits very comfortably there and enough room in the mid section to accommodate a larger fellow. Would definitely recommend to my larger frame brethren!Wore them at the beach and pool but have gradually started wearing them for yard work. Very comfortable and dry quickly! Unlike other quick dry fabric shirts I’ve tried this does not hold the heat in. They breathe very well!

This is a good shirt for playing in the pool or at the beach, floating around, etc. If you want to actually swim laps forget it--it is not form-fitting and will twist and become constrictive, seriously restricting your stroke. I eventually went with another brand's compression shirt with SPF in it instead--a FAR better solution. This is for a day at the beach, not for swimming laps.
