Santa delivered one set to our 6 year old granddaughter, and one set to her grandpa who lives 550 miles away. Since we couldn't be together for Christmas this year, they have arranged weekly FaceTime sessions to work on Legos together. They each take out one bag of pieces and one booklet and work on them together. Grandpa helps her when she gets stuck on something. She loves to race ahead and finish each section of the booklet as quickly as possible, which means that she sometimes needs to backtrack and have a do-over. They talk about what each part of the model is for, and she lets her imagination run wild about what space exploration must be like. They've decided that their first mission will be to Mars. Legos are a timeless way to bring kids of all ages (in this case 6 and 74) together. The instructions are well-designed and almost foolproof. So far, they've encountered no missing pieces.

This set was no match for my ambitious 5 year old and my husband who is a kid at heart.Fantastic set. Fun to build and so fun to play.Space exploration and the little monorail that gets the astronauts to the shuttle is so fun. Highly recommend. Great price at $80, but could go up anytime.Legos are timeless and this set is a great addition to any collection.

My kids love lego and emjoyed building this set.

It will be a gift for my grandson who will love putting it together and playing with it.

This set is absolutely incredible, it comes with so much!You got the rocket, which is really big and fantastic, with compartments and boosters that come off.You got a launch pad, that actually works.You got the command site, that has some super fun and clever play features (a analog countdown and tracker).Then! There's a little roller coaster thrown in.But wait, there's also a little rover and satellite.Absolutely top notch lego set. One quibble is that the white booster cones don't stay on.

Lots to build and play with - the Rocket, train and mission control have lots of options for play.Its a long, fun, build for a child, but mostly straightforward- my 5 year old put lots of it together on his own.

My kid was so excited to put this set together but it came with out booklet #5. It came with two copies of #6-7. When you spend over $100 for a toy, you hope that everything will be there. Super disappointing. Hopefully LEGO can make this right

This Lego kit was so much fun for my boys to build together. There were a lot of pieces, but the instructions made it very easy for them. The price is great for such a large, intricate set. I would definitely recommend it!
