Work well
OK, they work well, however, just because you bought the set doesn’t mean yours work is gonna turn out beautiful. If you suck at weaving and braiding para cord you will still suck after you buy this kit.You WILL look professional while your trying though.

FID's wont stay threaded.
First off I like the carrying case and assortment of FID's The Smoothing tool works good. The Needle was a nice plus. That being said the FIDs just won't stay threaded( this is the biggest complaint on this item) I bought these to compliment my other straight FID's that I had for about 5 years. The tapered FID, smaller, and 2 size angled ones would have made my set complete, as I had been using my Jewelry Fine tooth sailfish Pliers for some of the smaller cords. I am most likely to return the Set. I ever cut the cord on an angle and heated it up to make for a better grab of the cord, which didn't even work for a second and further more I even went so far as wrapping some paper and foil around the cord to see if it helped at all. Nope no dice.

I got what I paid for...
I was looking for a blunt needle with a large-enough eye to pull nano-cord, but saw this product and decided that it would be nice to have a few extra fids in various sizes. The dimensions and external finish on everything was fine, but it's hard to mess up brushed stainless steel. However, the fids weren't very functional out of the box. The tips on all of them came to a sharp point, causing snags when trying to pass through cord. I took a file and sandpaper to them and they work fine now. The internal threads didn't grab when I tried to attach it to cord, and when I did get it to attach, it pulled out easily, meaning that I had to re-attach them several times. I eventually re-tapped them, and they attach and hold just fine now. If you don't have files, a tap set, and a vice to hold them secure while you clean up the threads, they would be very frustrating to use.The cheap plastic case is too small and the snap closure too weak to hold the tools in the set securely. It's useless unless you're going to use it to store something other than the fids/lacing needles. The lacing needle works as advertised though...so i didn't feel like it was fair to give it one star.

Too small for 550
All too narrow for 550 you have to cut the threads then pull and melt the sheath to use these

More diversity.
A decent starter kit; however, if they provided a bit more diversity in the gauge sizes I think it would be a better deal. Also if they provided a deal so you could have two of each, this way you could have one on each tail to limit having to remove and are-thread strands. Overall a decent purchase.

WARNING BE CAREFUL a few were VERY SHARP. .
WARNING. A FEW OF THESE WERE EXTREMELY SHARP. And the should not be.Also the thread sizes are really way off. I have another set that doesn't require me to cut half the cord. I waste more material trying to use these than I ever have.

Great for paracord
So far I've used just the flat tool, but, paracord threads nicely into the other points, and they are good quality. What else is there to say? :)

This contains every size fid you should possibly need.
These kids are quality made stainless steel, there are two with bent tips for easier weaving of tight braids, and everything fits in a small but secure container.

Exactly as described, smooth, easy to use
I'm new into Paracord hobbying, I bought this fid set to assist with routing paracord through tight loops. It arrived quickly. I would've given it 5 stars, but the 3mm curved fid was not bored out, it's got a flat end so you can't use it for it's purpose. All 6 other fids are bored out perfectly, true to diameter and easy to use. I wrote the company and they were very quick and pleasant to deal with. They gave a 10% refund of the purchase price for the defective fid. A very good gesture to make things right. So it's 5 stars as long as there are no defective pieces in the set.

Comprehensive paracording kit
Almost all you need for paracord and other, similar tasks - in a handy little plastic case. The standard and curved fids have threaded ends to grip a cord end - and the spatula is useful for smoothing melted cord ends. A larger case - with compartments - would allow storage of scissors, craft knife, lighters and other paracord paraphernalia, but that can be sourced separately.

Great set of tools, swiftly delivered and well presented. Everything in a convenient case with space to add a few personal extra (small) tools, such as extra sewing needles. May get a second set for convenience's sake!

Good selection, fair price.
Quite a few of these sets around at varying prices and content. I picked this one as closest to my needs and I wasn't disappointed.Enough of a selection to deal with most paracord projects I have in mind, and not too expensive at 8 quid.
