The product didn't work for me, not to say it wouldn't for someone else. The Service was excellent. It might have helped me to sleep some. It didn't upset my stomach or smell weird. I think only for mild cases with depression this could be used.

Of all of the brands of Valeran Root I have tried, these are absolutely the best! You do have to give it about a week, and let this get into your system. I take these daily and swear by them. Highly recommend!

Update: 11/7/20More an issue with the plant itself than the company or product here. I've stopped taking SJW after I discovered some bald patches. No history of premature hair loss in either of my biological parents. Also no outstanding stress factors (single easy life with little responsibility, by design). I researched all my supplements and this was the only one with reports of hair loss. No science supporting that claim though. The patches seem to be regrowing after I've stopped and done some fasting. Not certain yet though. Please keep in mind that this is after many years of use from different brands. I would urge anyone suffering from depression to consider the possibility that it might be a gluten allergy. I've cleared up most of my depression after realizing that. Anything else is situational depression because we live in a despotic social system and are surrounded by low IQ accountants as our leaders. We've got some serious civil rights issues in our society. We still live in the dark ages, even though we have the technology to create a heaven on earth. I fully believe this is the root of my depression.~Original review: 5 Stars~As of late December 2019, this is currently the most potent, yet cheapest, St John's Wort on the market. If I were to critique anything, it would be to just sell the powder so I can make my own capsules at my own desired strength... or make it in a larger capsule so as to compete with the 900mg tablets from Solaray (my previous goto brand), so I can take fewer. I'd prefer to buy the powder in bulk, personally.
