One of the power dots stopped working after a few months. No warranty from the company because it was bought through Amazon. Absolutely disgusting customer service for an expensive product

The entrance to the pod was broken when I tried to pull the cable out the normal way. For a 120 pounds worth pod, the quality is really not there.

The product is awesome. Second to none. Next generation stimulator/TENS. App great. Problems: don’t buy, as I did during a bout of insomnia. I’m sure this cost a lot to bring to market but I don’t think there’s any new technology and it’s crazy expensive. I was content to do that but there’s no way the pads are going to last 20 treatments-even with a lot of body shaving. Rubbish when compared with other less expensive brands. Cleverly with different attachment. Then 17£/$ to replace. Even have to pay postage! So this is a tool for folk with spare cash. Great piece of kit but can’t help feeling I’ve been taken for a ride with the pads. Suspect an opening for an entrepreneur to make them cheaper and longer lasting.

For the basic programs available, it’s massively overpriced. For the duo, it should be £100 tops.

I brought this a year ago as part of a Black Friday deal having seen it being used on various CrossFit social media sites. It was heavily discounted and I didn't do a whole lot for research on it given it's relatively low price. Fired it into a cupboard on arrival and only used it in past few weeks as I had torn a calf muscle. The product works fine and I had none of the connectivity issues that others have had. BUT as many other posters have said the replacement pads are absolutely extortionate. That is when they are in stock so you will have to sign up to receive an email and order quickly when they are available. Then there is the shipping costs. These are the same price as a replacement set of pads. They do have free shipping but then you need to bulk order pads which they may or may not have in stock nor may you have any use for a large number of replacement pads in the first place. Also note that the magnetic connectors are a proprietary size (oh I wonder why!!!). Whilst there are third party products available on Amazon which state they are compatible with the PD2.0 many reviews would indicate that they do not work nearly as good as the original. My advice is not to buy this product at all for two reasons. Firstly, if you only want it for occasional use then it's very expensive unless deeply discounted. Secondly, if you require a Tens device for regular use then being locked into their "ecosystem" will prove eye wateringly expensive in the long run.

Ich nutze den PowerDot 2.0 Duo rot jetzt seit einigen Tagen und bin von der Technik, den Möglichkeiten der Bedienung über die App und den bisherigen erfolgen nach meinen Trainings sehr angetan. Als Hobby-Biker (Rennrad und MTB) habe ich nach meinen Touren oftmals schwere Beine, die Erholungsprogramme für diese Dots sind einfach spitze. Was ich am Anfang etwas umständlich fand ist das einlesen in das Produkt über die Bedienungsanleitung, bei meinem Produkt lag diese in englischer Sprache bei was bei Fachausdrücken nicht immer leicht ist zu verstehen, hier fände ich es besser für den deutschen Markt eine entsprechende Anleitung beizulegen, ich habe mir diese dann über die Homepage des deutschen Distributor durchgelesen. Einer der beiden Dots lässt sich bei meiner Lieferung etwas schwer bedienen, er reagiert nicht so schnell wie der andere Dot was das ein-und ausschalten angeht. Trotzdem von mir volle 5 Sterne, Preis-/Leistung stimmt hier sehr...insbesondere wenn man Vergleiche zieht zu anderen Mitbewerbern wo gleichartige Geräte drei bis viermal so teuer sind, dazu der große Vorteil der Bedienung über das Smartphone und keine weitere "Steuereinheit" die man benötigt. Zu bedenken ist auch das über die App die Möglichkeit bestünde weitere Programme für die Dots anzubieten, ein großer Vorteil wie ich finde.

Believe all the negative reviews regarding bluetooth connection issues! They will constantly disconnect during your program giving you no way to adjust the stimulation level and can introduced safety concerns. They rarely reconnect. This is with your phone IN YOUR HAND and not across a room! I bought this to use on my back and consistently within the first minute or two of use, they will disconnect. Over 50 attempts I have literally never been able to complete a back program. One time I started a back program and began to increase the intensity. As I was getting up to the level I wanted, I went up too much and started feeling pain. However, the powerdots timed its disconnect right at that moment. Since they were on my back, it was very difficult for me to reach them and took me a while to press the physical button on them to stop them while enduring that pain. I tested by having my phone placed on my back and I have to keep my phone about 6-8 inches away for it not to disconnect. Obviously, that is not viable as you have no control without your phone in hand. Addditionally, as I've researched more about this issue, it appears this product is being phased out by Therabody. Given the lack of support for these issues, pads being unavailable for months on end, no new marketing for powerdot in forever, the website having links that go nowhere and get 404 error messages, the app having news & education post from two years and older and nothing more recent, the app itself not having any software updates in nearly a year, the forums don't work anymore, and the list goes on and on. This product would be amazing if it actually worked as designed. The app is great and I like the physical form factor of the dots. But with all the issues I've mentioned it is definitely a DO NOT BUY!! Ironically in the picture I uploaded, I was holding my phone and had the pads exactly like the person in the app photo. Yet they disconnected and would not reconnect, something that happened each time I tried to run the program.
