STIKK 3 Pack 1/4" inch x 60yd Yellow Painters Tape 14 Day Easy Removal Trim Edge Thin Narrow Finishing Masking Tape (.25 in 6MM)

I use this yellow tape for labeling boxes and jars, with a black Sharpie pen. The yellow color and black Sharpie work well together to make the label easily readable to poor eyes or just in dim light. It's like any painters' tape in that it will at times be a little difficult to pull off the roll, maybe tearing on the horizontal, but that is the nature of painters' tape. It's good tape and very utile and economical for labeling storage containers in a good visual manner.

I love this item and need it in almost every space that I work/live to keep my head organized - ;)) Grab a permanent pen and use this tape to label: all foods in refrigerator, boxes in storage room, garage - stuff in small/med. boxes, office paperwork, etc. etc. 'easy to remove if one end is slightly tucked in. haven't used this tape for painting. Use it as a general purposed adhesive tape. Bright yellow is useful as background for writing labels with permanent marker. Like other masking tape, if you leave it on too long, it leaves a residue. So best for short-term labels.

Will know more about adhesion in time. Seems good but had to press end of it a couple times.

I had done some research regarding the significance of the yellow color of this masking tape. Found out that yellow means it has better masking properties than the blue or green. My experience is that this is exactly right for this 1/4" wide yellow tape. It was a joy to work with and produced a crisp bleed-free edge. I was using Testor's gold oil-based paint on black, so bleed would have ruined the effect. Application of the tape was easy, with just enough stretch to produce perfectly smooth gentle curves. I left it applied for nearly a week before removing and had no trouble with it coming off cleanly.

The color is great the material is okay but this roll must have been on the shelf awhile. I tugged the first bit off the roll and the tape snapped off at about 2". The second pull was better and cut nicely with kitchen shears.

Works okay for taping my canvas panels before painting BUT I used it to mark my favorite high gloss painted lamp for the movers as to what room it goes in. It took the paint off when I removed it. I bought some high gloss paint and with some work was able to fix it but in my mind if you intend to use this to tape off a painted wall..don’t!

using this tape on a tape dispenser with paper. Adhesion is very good, but the tape is thinner than what you normally get at the paint store. Automotive clear coat does not penetrate which is very good. Removal was easy and fast. This is a good tape for automotive repairs.

At first I thought this was going to be great compared to a major known branded item. WRONG. Avoid at all costs. Warmer temperatures means the tape glue comes unbonded from the tape and remains stuck to the window. Now I have glue strips to remove by hand which will take ages. Also tape tears constantly which is ridiculous. Very poor product. Now I have a huge job to fix it. Never buy this product it's not worth it. By the big brand stuff which has no issues and performs perfectly.

Useless for my purposes. I normally use delicate surface frog tape to edge my paintings - it works well on every surface I've tried, though you have to take care removing it with watercolour paper. I wanted some narrower tape for doing borders, so I thought I'd try this. Just no point at all. It didn't stick well at all to the (fully dry) acrylic base coat - ends kept lifting - and thanks to the crepe-y texture of the paint, it allowed the paint to creep through and make little lines, not a clean edge. Worse, with my gilding size, it actually sucked the the adhesive (essentially dilute pva) under the tape, and did exactly the opposite of what I was trying to do! Might be ok for thick paints if applied carefully, or if you apply base coat, tape, base coat along the edge of tape, then new colour over the top...but that's not what I was going for! Definitely test on a sample first!
