Thes tins are good for home use theyre not heavy duty but for home use they are ok dont scrub too hard or the coating will disappear

You get a lot for your money with these tins so from that point of view they are very good value for money. However, a couple of things to note. Wash them before first use and put in a fairly hot oven for 15- 20 minutes then wash again when cooled. This was the only way I could get rid of the terrible smell they produced when first used, which was quite alarming and is probably some kind of oil-based coating during the manufacturing process. Secondly, make sure you line the tins with greaseproof paper, especially over the edges where the loose bottom meets the sides to prevent leaking. Thirdly, there is a knack to removing the loose bottom from the tin because they don't come out easily and even after loosening the clasp, there isn't much leeway. Overall, its nice to have a selection of different sized tins, which stack neatly inside each other but slightly disappointing that they are a bit fiddly to use. For the price however, can't complain.

These are so useful and easy to clean. I'm so pleased I purchased them.

The whole metal clip snapped with my cake still inside the tine and i was unable to remove the cake from the tin
