Great Versatile Product for the Price!
This is my second Tivax HiRez7. My first one lasted a little over a year. I did not send it back to mfg. for repair; too much trouble. In any case, I enjoyed using the Tivax HiRez7 so much, I went ahead and ordered another one. I have only used it a couple of times, but it works well. Placing the magnetic antenna on anything metal draws in a good signal. Local stations may be limited, depending on your location. Great product for use indoors, on deck or patio. Also, excellent for battery use during power outages. For the price and versatility, I say Try It!

Not a good purchase
I purchased this kit from DiscountsJungle. The TV only worked while plugged in -- batteries would not charge from either the TV or docking station. I also got replacement batteries directly from Tivax and the batteries still would not charge. When I returned the set, I paid shipping charges to return it, my initial shipping charge was not refunded, and I was charged a restocking fee. I would not recommend this kit. I have since purchased the RCA DHT235A 3.5-Inch LED-lit 720p 60Hz TV. It works perfectly and will run off AA batteries that makes it more useful for power outages.

If you're looking for a good simple TV for your bathroom or just to carry ...
This TV doesn't get 80% of the channels "from the air" even with the advanced attena. If you're looking for a good simple TV for your bathroom or just to carry around, don't get this one. It doesn't keep the picture because of the HD and delays and hangs...wish I hadn't wasted the money on it. Stay away.

Device has design flaw
Batteries need to be reinforced with cardboard or paper to enable contacts to function. The seller troubleshot this device with me but refused to return or offer credit. Device works well after jury rig fix but clearly this device should be recalled and not sold.

A great package
This is the best package I found. Has everything needed for power outage; DISH storm interruptions; backup battery power. Simple to set up and use.
