Makes temp gage jump
This sensor is the one that goes near the thermostat. I was trying to do preventive maintenance since the sensor came with the car back in 2000. This sensor I bought did read, however I noticed the temperature gage was jumping up and down. What I will do is buy a toyta genuine part number 89422-35010. It may be 3x more but oem just works plug n play

I'm a woman and I went on YouTube and changed my coolant temp sensor and all the codes disappeared once I changed it and I'm so happy!!!😊 This is a real review and I'm thinking about buying another one for back up 😆

Used on my 1991 toyota camry v6 , sensor worked well and clipped on right

Should be fine.
Purchase with the thermostat and it fixed the issue. kept in case I need it later.
