This is worth spending a little money on
I first tried this based on a friend's opinion while we were shopping in Trader Joe's. It did not disappoint and I have since used it on flatbreads and for other appetizers. Very tasty. It has become more difficult to find in the store, so I have purchased some bottles online. I gave some to my friends last year at the holidays and everyone loved it.

Trader Joe's Fig butter is simply delicious. I'm so glad I doubled ordered . It's a smooth fig taste with very little seed . More than I expected. I will buy again .

Delicious!
I had ordered a pear tart at a restaurant in PA and learned that the base of the tart was Trader Joe's Fig butter! Now I'm making the tarts on my own and am happy that I can order the product on Amazon since we don't have a Trader Joe's near us. It's a great complement with the gorgonzola cheese with sautéed pear and onion topping!

Closest thing to eating a fig
As a lover of figs, I could eat this stuff with a spoon. I attempted to substitute this with fig preserves, bought from my local grocer.No. Just no.I was unprepared for the ludicrous amount of sweetener. I thought my feet would fall off from immediate diabetic shock. If you like figs, and aren't a fat american, that has guzzled 2 sodas in the time it takes to read this, give this product a whirl.

Delicious, used to make a popular appetizer
When Trader Joe's stopped carrying pumpkin butter my husband sought a substitute for making a favorite holiday appetizer. We spread this generously over a block of cream cheese and covered with lightly glazed walnuts. Served with a variety of crackers. Huge hit with our guests!(For the pumpkin butter version used pecans.)

Weird packaging...but tasty!
Packing peanuts, then doubled shrink wrapped, followed up by tape holding down the lids. Made me think that the lids were coming off...tastes good though.
