DC Collectibles Justice League 7-Pack Action Figure Box Set

I was unsure about this set when I ordered it. I love it. These are dc direct figures which means not as articulated as the Mattel versions. Quick run down 1. Love this figure 2. Wonder Woman ....love the old costume but like this costume too. Does not include sword that is with the carded figure. Due to her hair, she can't turn her head very much. That was a little disappointing. 3. Batman...almost love him. Can't put my finger on what I am hesitant about. My figures head was hard to turn at first, but go easy and it loosens up. 4. Flash....I like the flash as a character. Thought that I would not like this figure from pictures. I did not think I was going to like the altered chin....and a few other details. I was wrong. This figure is awesome. First time that he looks fast! 5. Green lantern another favorite character. Some people complain that he has no lantern and although it should be included it does not ruin the figure for me. I like the head better than I thought I would. I have the blackest night version and can't decide which I like better. So I was a tiny bit disappointed here. 6. Cyborg. Not a real fan of the character. He has grown on me. I thought I would be putting this guy on eBay, but I think I will keep him now that I have him opened. He does not come with alternate hand. Find him to be a little too much like a statue. Can't pose him in any great poses. Disappointed but probably a keeper. I like the flash point figure better. 7. Aquaman....unlike many people I like the character. I hate this figure. I do not like his necklace or having his trident tethered to his belt. Those are not deal breakers though. I don't like the head sculpt. The body is good. I do like his gloves. I don't like the color of his shirt. I will be keeping my brightest day aquaman and selling this one. These figures look great on my shelf along with the following: brightest day green arrow, brightest day hawkman and woman, brightest day Martian manhunter, and brightest day firestorm. I also have the dc direct atom up there. The mini versions look good but that figure needs to be updated. So the brightest day and new 52 figures look great together. Someone said it in a different review, but it should be said again PICTURES DO NOT DO THIS SET JUSTICE. They look better out of the package

The recent Batman V Superman movie got me so pumped that i decided to cave in and purchase this toy set. The film is a masterpiece by the way. I had been eyeing this set for some time now, but the price range was always in the upper eighties and i felt that was a tad too expensive for some action figures. I am in my early 30's and haven't purchased an action figure in ages and when i did, each one cost five bucks and under. I have to say i am in love with this set. Every hero looks carefully sculpted and designed beautifully. It almost reminds me of the quality you would find in McFarlane toys except his branding isn't on the box. It is interesting to see how far toys have come where their arms are now able to bend and be posed in more ways than previously My only two complaints are that these are action figure toys, but you really can't play with them. They are sculpted in such a way that their main purpose is really to stand there and look pretty. I can see very young kids playing with this set and breaking them. The second complaint is that some of these JL characters don't come with their accessories unless purchased individually. Buying each one individually is expensive, so having them in a the JL set makes more sense and its JL for goodness sakes! Why shouldn't they be in a set together. I noticed when i looked each JL hero up separately they included accessories. I am disappointed Wonder Woman doesn't have her sword and shield. Aside from that, i am pleased and they look great on my book stand.

I pretty much bought this for Superman. The others were just bonuses. I bought this right when it came out so the single release Superman was not out yet and I without a doubt prefer this 7 pack Superman. If you are unaware, the two have different head sculpts. The single release one, IMO, is very silly looking and is just really stupid. All but one figure in this set is amazing and that black sheep is Wonder Woman. What a hideous figure. I don't collect female figures, so this one was going straight into my fodder box anyway, but she is truly a terrible looking figure. As others have stated, WW and Cyborg do not come with their accessories. However, Aquaman does come with his trident. The others not having their accessories is not a big deal for me. I did have a few QC issues, mainly minor ones. The only really bad QC issue is with my Aquaman. He does not stand well on his own due to leg warping of some sort during some stage in his packaging most likely. But that's why we have stands (or a little heat). On the topic of Aquaman, his gold chain and necklace are removable and it was the first thing I did when I removed him from his packaging. I think he looks so much better without the ridiculous bling. All in all, it's a great set and if you are missing any of these in your collection or you don't have any of them, do not hesitate. They are awesome! Once again DCC gives us incredibly detailed figures that are insanely awesome. Buy it!!

My son is totally into superheroes, at the moment, so I decided to purchase this set for Christmas. I love it, except Green Lantern's left leg won't stay on at all (it seems the joint just isn't tight enough and that his leg won't "click" in like the others) and Cyborg's left arm keeps falling off (same issue with the tightness of the joint). Luckily, Superman and Batman are PERFECT, as those are my son's two favorite characters! Kind of wondering if Green Lantern and Cyborg can be replaced or if I would need to exchange the entire package??? Any additional feedback in regards to exchanging/returning would be greatly appreciated. Other than these two issues, my son is having a BLAST playing with these guys (and girl)!

Now for the product itself: We have 7 of the most iconic figures of the New 52 Justice League which is headlined by Superman. Other members are Batman, Wonderwoman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Aquaman. Each character is superbly detailed. The articulation in each figure is fairly limited and standard. I would not recommend this for children, since some parts are more prone to break off than others (e.g., The Flash's headpieces). The only gripe that I have about this product is that the quality of Wonderman seems to be less than standard compared to her male counterparts. It's a minor complaint, but the figure itself is still outstanding. A must-have and bargain for any collector!

I bought this as a gift for my 6yr old grandson who just can't get enough of the Super Heros. I had to laugh because he opened them with great excitement but I noticed he put Wonder Woman to the side. When he wasn't looking I would put her back with the group but he just kept casting her aside. Finally I said she needs to be with the guys because her "powers" are just as good as them and she even has an invisible jet to boot! He's at the age when girls have cooties and I couldn't convince him otherwise. I can't wait for the day when he's all grown up about to get married and I remind him he turned down Wonder Woman. What guy wouldn't want Wonder Woman, she's the total package? Anyhow, this product is very well made and really sturdy and I'm sure will stand up to constant usage. To pick them all up as a package was a great deal. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys the Justice League.

I got this set as a gift for my six year old nephew so these toys have not been taken out of the package yet. Just from shopping around, I know these figures cost anywhere from $10-$25 each. I paid $75 for my set so I fell like the value alone was a good deal. My nephew is really into the Flash and Green Lantern and the ones in this set are really detailed, I know he is going to love them. I know they are made for collectors, so I have no idea how they will hold up to being played with by a child regularly. I'm hoping they'll hold up well, they seem very sturdy just going off a visual judgement.

The description on this product is inaccurate and misleading. I did not receive the DC Collectibles Box Set I was trying to buy (I knew what the set looked like from seeing it in retail stores). Instead I got a a bag full of loose figures featured in the set. Many had very loose joints, something I don't find common with new figures. The quality of what I received if suspiciously inferior compared to the figures from this same line and manufacturer I already own. In looking at the reviews/images of the figures posted online, I can see the paint on what I received was scuffed in many places; accessories, such as a chain for Aquaman's trident, are absent; weird joint pegs in the shoulders of Batman and Superman are visible, which is uncommon for this line and not visible in online pictures of the figures from the box set; and the Cyborg figure, shown in all pictures from this box set as having bendable elbows, strangely does not. I am aware of many of the specifics I am listing above may only be the concerns of collectors versus those buying these figures for say, children. Regardless, this is not the "box set" many are hoping to buy. In short, while I felt the retail was competitive what I received felt like someone took a pile of figures discarded by a previous owner or the manufacturer, threw them in a bag, and tried to pass it off as the box set at a cheaper price. I am disappointed and seeking a return/refund from this seller.
