Wish I did this years ago
I love this wheel kit. I use my Predator 3500 to run my shop and roll it in and out on regular basis. the final straw for me on purchasing this wheel kit was having to drag the generator across the yard during a power outage. I ordered this kit the same day. I previously thought these kits were too expensive, but it's worth it to not have to drag this thing around every time I use it. It took me less than a half hour to install and rolls so much easier now. As I gave it a slight push and watched it rolling across the floor, I thought "I should have done this years ago". It is a serious game changer.I gave it a 5 on durability, but it's really too early to tell. The parts are machined well and it's an easy install if you have something to prop up the generator as you're pulling the wheels off. If you're still reading and haven't ordered yet, Do it!

Well Worth the Money
I wish I would’ve bought this years ago when I started eyeing it for my generator. It’s pricey, but it’s worth the money if you routinely wheel your generator around off of smooth surfaces. It installs in about 20 minutes and the machined parts fit great. One nice thing is it retains usage of the brake lever so you can still lock it in place to prevent rolling.Would highly recommend for anyone on the fence about it.

Tremendous improvement
I know there’s a bunch of cheaper ways to upgrade the wheels on the predator 3500.This kit was just simple and easy. The airless tires are a huge perk. This thing glides now! Also The generator never is starved for air with the bottom intake anymore.

Makes moving over rough terrain easy
I've had this kit for about a year now. First the good, easy to install but you have to remember to place your blocks under the generator frame from front to back. I had mine under the generator side to side and found I had to reposition it to allow clearance for the larger diameter tires. Next, vastly improved straight-line maneuverability, but it's a bit harder to get it to change direction as the tires do not slide sideways like the dinky little stock wheels did. I bought my generator to take with us camping and I have a tray in a receiver hitch on the back of our trailer. The stock wheels fit inside the tray rails, these larger ones will not. I built a wood block set to put under the frame and allow the one set of tires to hang over the forward lip of the tray, between the tray and the bumper. Recently, I added a remote start kit to my generator and in order to do so, I had to remove the pull cord side wheels, as well as both side panels. The back wheel wasn't too hard to remove, but the front wheel with the brake, I had to work around and pry the hub cab off to get the wheel off. Pulling the opposite side panel wasn't difficult, but installation was. The larger wheels make clearance to the lower clips for the panel almost non-existent, but they can be aligned and insert with a little persuasion from a screwdriver. The designer and manufacturer did an outstanding job with this. Everything in the kit is well made, clean and polished. The machine work is fantastic. The only thing I would recommend as a design change would be to drill a hole in the ends of the new axle shafts, add a washer, and have purchasers re-use the factory hairpin clip to secure the wheels instead of the caps driven onto the end of the shaft.Big question is, would I purchase this kit again? Yes. Most certainly.

Quality Product
30 minutes after UPS dropped off the box the new wheels were on my Predator 3500 smooth and easy to move around. Above and beyond the quality of the machined parts by the way I will turn 81 in Nov.

Good Design, Easy Install
If you already own a Predator 3500 you know the stock wheels are horrible. They skid on the smallest of pebbles or pavement imperfections, forget trying to pull it on grass or gravel. I use mine at motorcycle track days and even on pavement it is a pain to try and push around. This design with the larger No-Flat tires is a huge improvement. While a bit expensive, you're going to pay $80-$100 just buying the piece parts and even then you still have to machine the parts to retain the braking mechanism. This is a great design. Took me all of 10 minutes to open the box, place the Predator on a milk crate, remove the OEM wheels, and install the new assembly. Tip: After I tapped on the first axle cap I realized I should have used a 19mm socket to tap it on without denting it up. They do not tap on very easily. Should have had that tip in the instructions for dummies like me. On that same note, and in hindsight, I wish I would have just drilled a hole on the end of the machined axle adapters and used a washer and cotter key like the OEM wheel attachment. Would have been a bit cleaner install. Not sure why this guy didn't just do that after all the other slick engineering he did for this kit. All in all, I highly recommend this for anyone who will be pulling their Predator over any terrain. Well worth the price.
